Rumours today says Mancini has the spartak moscow game to save his job. If he doesn't win that one Sven Goran Erickson will be the new manager.

I hope this isn't true getting Sven would be a backward step.:wallbang:

With the players we have, we can manage to get any coach available. Every one will want to be our coach. But whom we will choose?? No answer to that...

yeah, had it been that simple

It would be a mistake to fire Mancini, both from sporting and financial points of view.

Oh I can't deci
After several times of it happening, you would think Inter would be smart NOT to change coaches during then season. Look at Toro, the president admitted it was a mistake to get Zac so close to the season.

Besides, I will stand up for Mancio. Yes he is resposible for some the woeful displays, but its not his fault important players are either injured or disqualified. Despite it all, it has not be as a disastrous start as some people portray it to be.

2 wins against Spartak will put us back into contention and we will wait til Roma's thinly talented squad will wear down as the seasons progresses.

I have faith in Mancio and the team.

Injuries and suspensions are part of the game. He has to deal with it like all coaches. His squad has had enough deph if he had used some of the better players instead of opting to use the ones he likes even when they aren't in form.

He is the coach and he is responsible.

He is responsibe to an extent. It would have been a different story if he had the full squad at his disposal and he still managed mediocre displays. No one expected him to have such unfortunate luck to be without his starting CM's for several matches now.
Don't forget he managed to beat Prandelli and Spalleti in their home soil, no small feat.

The team has yet to gel for the most part, we will bounce back.

He is fully responsible as the coach of the side the buck stops with him. And again injuries and suspensions are part of the game. Dacourt-Stankovic is a pretty decent backup combo. If a Company does poorly with it's profit it's the ceo's fault since he is ultimately responsible. The same applies to a football coach if the sides doesn't get the results the fans demand and expect he is responsible for it.

Those away wins were great but the poor displays vs sporting and bayern sort of cancel them out.

I also expect us to bounce back.

Only idiots replace Mancini with Eriksson, so there is a very good chance we will do it.

Any person that claims to have knowledge in soccer knows that Eriksson and Mancini are two faces of the same coin.

Both practice favouritism, advocates of flat 4-4-2, tactically challenged and can't make the most of their players.

Please don't do it!

I agree with Hamed, Mancini is younger SGE. Everything mancini knows he learnes from Ericsson, in Lazio. If we sack mancini, we should not get SGE for sure...

I agree with you guys about that Eriksson issue, didn't needed!
About that Pajo, he learned a lot from Eriksson for sure, but not all. Mancini haved long and sucesfull career and he was coached by many great coaches, he knows much, that's for sure, I am just not sure that he's mature enough for caching big club.

I do not understand what you want Man won 2 Coppas and 2 Supercoppas. ANd won gift form federation.

We will judge him when he will make sopmethin really bad and this is this year if we are eliminated from CL(will be disapointment)
and if he do not win Scudetto.

Then judge he is still young coach and the best in Italy right now. I mean active coaches.

being a coah at inter is tough, man...
it is not a normal situation.. like when you coach chelski, liverpool or barca..
here... Every thing is against you.... everyone is against inter..

I am quite serious about luck..., just look at our team..
we have worldclass players..., we have world cup champions (and the decisive players too.. quite funny that matrix and grosso are nominated as best player)... Mancio is a very good coach man...
Sometimes, you have not soo good things, but if you believe them hard enough.. they may work.. at other times You have a very good thing, you don't put trust... they don't work...

Mancio is most trusted coach inter ever have... he may not be the best...
and even at akward times, he won us few lesser awards... and coincidently we got scudetto.... so he is a lucky man..

Mancini accepts this will be last chance at Inter Milan

Roberto Mancini accepts he will be sacked if he cannot deliver a trophy to Inter Milan this season.
Mancini said today: "I know well that, if this season I do not win anything, I will not remain at Inter.

"However, I am convinced I can do it and, despite the critics, I will continue working hard until June to achieve this."

-

I don't think it is a good idea to fire him..even if he does bad next matches.
Because if we chance coach on this moment en this time of the season i don't think it would help inter in a positive way..
We change to much this has always been the problem.
don't know why Inter can't see that.
+ it isn't always mancini's fault but it is an easy target for people to blame to.

3 full seasons in charge with such investments should definitely result in 1-2 proper silverware. If a manager then fails to deliver then regardless of their name he should be sacked. Simple as that and seemingly Mancini is fully aware of this.

I don't think he meant he'd be fired right away. He'll be given the boot at the end of season if we don't win anything.
