My bad, poor choice of words. Not fired then, we parted ways with him. Or he chose to walk out on us. Anyway, all of this after an entire summer with him being a part of our plans and with Thohir publicly stating he's our man. I hope they know what they're doing, as it was stated before, the timing for this is terrible.

Great news! Cheers guys! Finally Mancini is out of the club.
I dont know De Boer but i hope at least he knows how to use his players and especially Banega. Even that is enough for upgrade over Loserini.

I don't follow our national league, but i hear and read of Ajax fans that De Boer is not a typical Dutch, attacking coach. Yes, he plays 4-3-3 but in comparison to the so-called 'Dutch School' (an attacking 4-3-3 with real wingers, playing on possession etc.) he is rather defensive. Many Ajax fans were critical about De Boer, accusing him of playing boring football. That's rather good news for us, in that sense that the culture shock hopefully will be not as big as thought.

From what I read Mancini's main issue with the contract proposal was he'd lose any say he had over transfers

No, he Just adepten his style (reactive) to the players he had. Keep in mind last season he had a team of young and inexperienced players, but he nearly made them champions. Remember the first thing he did at Ajax was kick out the deadweight and the so called arrogaunt' star player. He is just not afraid to adept to the players he has, which is rather good in my opinion.

Edit: quoted.the wrong person

Apparently when Manshitni heard about the offer of 50mil+Gabiaddini from Napole for Icardi he was like, well what are you guys waiting for still?!(a big reason to quit was that the mgmt doesn't listen to him anymore with his transfer demands and request)
Meaning Mancini didn't hold Icardi in very high regards. However Suning fears selling the captain and star man in the first 6 months here...they don't wanna selll stars, they wanna buy them...
Sauce:pedulla

Well he was right about this at least
50mil and Gabbiadini is a lot...I'd take it in a heart beat
(Gabbia scored 4 goals against Monaco today and assisted 1.He is a good player tbh.I know a friendly but
When Icardi scores 4 and assists 1 in any sort of game call me...)
That's like 75mil...I'd run to the bank smiling as Icardi's and his wife's tantrums will never rly stop, they will ask more and more every single day...

He also was the one to give him the Captain responsability, that was not a good idea.

Immagine how piss off fans would be if Icardi would get a Legend at Napoli. Of course the offer was good but i can understand suning for not accept it and better wait for an Arsenal offer...

Mancini was announced the same day it was announced Mazzarri was fired, if I'm not mistaken.

I believe this is Thohir's m.o., he'll announce De Boer/Whoever at the same time he'll thank Mancini for his services and wish him good luck in the future.
