Honestly I would love to see Ronald koman. I don't want a serie a coach I want someone fresh with his own ideas. I don't want a 352 defensive ass football.

No way Capello leaves the Russia NT job ahead of the next WC being hosted by them

Capello has given the Russian Federation his ultimatum. They haven't paid him since 5 months now.

Koeman would take the Holland job over joining us unfortunately :eek:kay:

I'd take anyone who plays nice attacking football for once, Iv'e had enough of constantly watching 6+ defensive players on the pitch

Vecchi would probably end up as Strama version 2. .
At this stage the question should be if this could be actually worse than still seeing mazzari at inter.
to me vecchi would be a good choice, not only because he already has experience with pro football (even if it was only serie b), but also because he already showed theorical knowledge by getting the coaching license with stand out results (100 of 100 points).
if i remember correctly strama failed in his first exam and got the license in the second.

besides, vecchi would know how he should or if he should use some of the youth players from a primavera that is as dominating as it comes.
also, with a bit of luck injury wise, i think that it would not be so bad to have "Strama 2.0" as we could at least snap up a winning streak that is higher than 2 games.
adding that he would be very cheap comparing to other options, it wouldnt be quite the worst idea to give this guy a chance.

at this point id rather have a player coach than mazzari, so my oppinion might be a bit of biased, but i dont think that vecchi could do as bad as mazzarri when it comes to game plan; he could fail, but there is potential that he might succeed, whereas i dont see this potential in mazzarri

No more of this "changing for changing's sake" shite please. That has got us no where in the last 4 years.

I want the next coach to be THE long term option, someone we are ready to support for 3-4 years even if the results don't stack up for a while. I hate the football we are currently playing, but I don't mind waiting for Inter to land the right manager. This would mean that we get a coach who is suited to the style of football we want to play (Thohir must define that first), and ideally someone who has won silverware in the past. Serie A experience would be a plus, but not necessary.

Serie A experienced coaches...?
So that means it's probably impossible to find a coach with a modern philosophy.

Capello a super duper Rubbilanista? Nty. The problem is that foreign coaches will struggle against teams who park the bus, while most Italian coaches play crap football.

I'd take Mancini over Mazzari though. I think Mancini will demand more respect than Mazzari.

My #1 choice still remains De Boer.

But then again, does De Boer know how to play against teams who park the bus?

Can't answer that, but he'll be better than Mazzari for sure. Risk we need to take.

I'm surprised we can get Mancini.

We're not in the CL, not looking like we will get in the CL, we have no money... Mancini is probably better than we expected.

But a 2.5 year contract?! Wtf?!

If next tear we sack Mancini then we still have to pay Mazzari's, Mancini's and the new coach's salaries.

He's a better coach than Mazzarri. Certainly not perfect, or anywhere near by any means, but I'll take it. Is this news pretty legit?

At least he won something in his career, unlike Mazzari's single Coppa Italia.
