he was better than the world class striker Eto'o, or the fan favourite Goran Pandev, and that can say a lot

The whole team was shit against Genoa. Saying that Quaresma was our stand out player based on approximately 15 minutes is not really saying much.

Having said that, when he entered the field, one got the feeling that if anything was going to happen in terms of a change to the score, it may have come from his boot. I wonder if he could have made a lasting impact on the game if he had come on earlier.

As much as he showed some good touches, he also showed why he has not made the grade in Italy. His poor decision making and tendency to dwell and do too much with the ball was evident in the few minutes he played. A first time cross after beating two players would have been better than dribbling right and going left again before crossing.

Pandev and eto'o have done more in their inter careers than rq. The whole team was crap yesterday.

I fail to see what he did which deserves the praise that some are giving him.

The past is relevant. People who have performed in the past have the right to have the odd of day. People who haven't performed in the past need to show way more than just effort.

rq aint changing his game its the way he has always played....wasnt this one of the main reasons why many ppl fell in love with him in the first place...the flair the creativeness and the pizzaz....well even though there has been next to nothing shown of his "talent" i would like to see him for more then 10 minutes to see weather he has improved over the months...it really did seem that he could have easily gone past anyone against genoa but then again 10-15 mins is just not enough...
