Yea he was alot of peoples "dream" signing this summer.

Sadly, as expected he isnt Inter material.

This is one of the few times i wish i wasnt right about a player.

Disastrous performance, he did nothing right other than a couple of back pass and one trivela cross.

Its been 3 hours since the game ended and my anger hasnt gone away yet. I cant believe how poor his performance was, even by his standards. I would give him time Cro, but time is actually worsening him isnt it?

I feel so bad for the people who went to greet him at the airport that night.

He did have quite a good game in Reggina, didn't\ see him though yesterday because I was in class

I think people needs 2 b patient here. We need 2 give him time 2 adapt 2 Italian football. He has shown glimpse of quality. I just feel we r being 2 harsh on him.

We are in Week 11?
I think I have been too patient, yet I still know that it can take even a whole season for a player to adapt, I have seen it in many cases, but these are all small numbered.
The one off of the top of my head is here in Egypt with my team, Al Ahly. Flavio Amado, our Angolan striker came to us when he had been the topscorer of the Angolan League with 32 goals, he came to Egypt and scored only 1 goal, a fluke, a high ball came and hit him while he was running in the back of the head and scored a fluke.
Now for the past 2 seasons he has scored 11 and 15 and is our main striker.

Maybe it's the difference between Italy/Egypt and Portugal/Angola.

I gave Quaresma the chance to get away from football for three days because he lives alone here in Italy and I wanted him to return to his family for a few days. Next week will be an important week for him. There are national team games two days before the Juventus match. A lot of players will be away and Quaresma will be an important option for us."

Three days with his family won't teach him when to and when not to dribble defenders. :howler:

Next day's headline: Quaresma drunk and got beaten in a strip club at 5 a.m.

Seriously, no one can be as dumb as Adri.

I think it's just a case of adaption.
You could see it very good in the Milan derby. Every ball he got was immediately taken from him by Gatusso, who played a great match. He didn't had the time to control the ball or to do anything else because he was marked very closely, which is typical for Italy.

He has to adapt to this man marking and the type of football there's played in Italy, hard and fast.

It may be kind of the same in Portugal but it isn't exactly the same.

If he adapts one season (or maybe two) I think he will be the player he is (was). If he doesn't, we have made a mistake and it's a pity that he's a typical player for the Portugese football.
