Last year,Adriano scored a goal against Atalanta and he did it again in 4 consecutive matches!!!!!(against Torino,a saudi arabian team,Fiorentina and Chievo Verona..).
Let's hope,he repeats that again...

Only victory counts in football, you don't need to care about the bad performance..
Now for the ChL game.

veryy difficult conditions, players coming from international, and we play away from home in the worst conditions possible with a messed up field...

I think we should be delighted with the 3 points!!!

When a striker gets substitued for a midfield, it switches the formation of the team and thus is a tactical decision. He could have introduced zanetti for veira but mancini didnt. Mancini also knew that viera was fit enough to play a full 90 minutes, the 2 substituions were litterally 10 min from each other. Mancini's decisons were intentional.

yes, mancini's decision to take off adriano was very intentional..

i cannot remember the last time mancini made a sub as early as 55min unless someone was injured....even when players are playing very badly (stankovic and sometimes maxwell) he still waits till at least 70-75min (well, he never takes off stan)

people, stop making a big deal about the hand shake...
figo has done it numerous times when being subbed so i dunno why with adriano it is a big deal.

adriano did not light up, but nobody else did either....the conditions were very poor and if you judge adriano to be crap today, then cruz was crap squared cause he didn't do shit either...

and please, enough of the "coach is right"..

even great coaches are biased and are not good with all players...
remember juve coach in 99' had Henry and he was shit...look what he turned out to be.....so don't say mancini is "right"
i don't even say adriano is "right"

it is just a case of mancini not liking the player and it showed today....

i don't believe adriano was the best player or that he played amazing, but he wasn't that bad i mean if maicon did something off that backheel adri gave him we'd all be talking about how amazing that goal was and how adriano is on his way back to being the player he once was. so i think taking him off at that time wasn't tactical and couldn't mancini have taken out viera and put in zanetti then keep adriano and put in ibra instead of cruz then take out adriano in the 75th or 80th minute to put suazo in?

If Maicon had done anything off the backheel? Maybe he could have done something if the backheel pass had been accurate.

Anyway, I fully support Mancini's decision to take Adriano off. Adriano needs to understand that the pampering days are over. If he doesn't? Well, just ship his sorry ass elsewhere.

We were lucky to win tonight, on a dry pitch Reggina would have scored at least twice. The wet pitch killed our so called creativity.

I didn't see Adri getting touch into Figo's cross, at least he now has a goal in his books. :D It was stupid not to shake hands with Mancini, but I kinda understand the Brazilians feelings, only 55 minutes of play when the next time he can play is in a week.

congratulations for reaching the 20 points and Bravo Reggina, they deserved at least one point but that was our lucky day.
Suazo was too selfish and Vieira was like a bitch in the field, Ibra as usual made a wonderful plays making a pass to Cruz putting him 1 on 1 with the keeper but he failed to score and he dribbled 2 players on the edge of the box and his left foot effort was amazingly saved by Reggina's keeper.
Adriano must know that Mancini has the right to sub him or any player at any time, lets hope the problems between Adr and Mancini ends.

lol @ mancini....such a liar

""Adriano angry about the substitution? I didn't see, but the team comes first and we needed a change in that moment because we were suffering. But no player likes being substituted. It happens to everyone and it's nothing serious.

I brought Adri off because physically he wasn't in top shape. Cruz, on the other hand, is in good form at the moment and I preferred to keep him on."

right...
we were suffering, yet ibra was brought on 10min after to switch back to 4-4-2?
and yesterday, he said adriano was in top physical condition but today, he is not??

lol

Obviously Adriano's top physical condition = capable of playing 55 minutes, if you see it in another way. Definitely make sense, after being obese for around several months.

so Obese is now 5-8kg over his ideal weight he is obviously alot fitter than any1 here so I love the talk about the players been fat..

and adriano is probably the laziest inter player with Cruz so that says something

QUOTE]

i was wondering what killed our creativity tonight ?our so called creativity?>>>the wet pitch:D

im only kidding Alvaro and what im trying to say is that these types of so called uncreative displays must be valued more than 2-0 home wins

when you play like a team like Inter @ home you give 200%even if you're coming last on the table

all these teams and all these players will get known as the slayers of Inter should they inflict a loss or score against the mighty Inter

anyway great result

btw,nerazzurri4life>>>you over do it with references to Stankovic>>cleary you hate him and stab him in the back with every ludicrous claim of yours:ass:

Ahemmmm, if only you could bother thinking what I actually wrote.

It's obvious that Adriano is only starting to regain his fitness and form, how many games has he played this season? Hardly enough for him to gain enough match fitness to play for a whole game.

Also, if you could think before throwing some ridiculously non-sense comments at me. Players are obviously a lot fitter than any one here, but this doesn't automatically make them fit enough to last a whole game, it just isn't logical.

And no, I wouldn't say Adriano is as lazy as Cruz as a player. If you watch carefully enough, he runs like hell around the pitch to look useful regardless of his form.

On a dry pitch we wouldn't make as many defensive mistakes as we did tonight and would probably have played better .

There's no way to know whether the result would have been different in better conditions. But scudetto's are won and lost on nights like these.

And Adriano needs to grow up if he wants to get back in the side not shaking mancini's hand is hardly going to help his cause.

while some players may play good games and average games, stankovic this season has been SHIT IN EVERY GAME HE PLAYED...

he has not had one good game and has been the worst player in every game he plays....how he gets full 90min is nothing short of bias

anyways, we got the 3 points in very difficult conditions and that is all that is important....roma tied and hopefully, juve lose or draw....

for those saying "adriano should grow up"
why didn't you say "figo should grow up" when he used to get subbed off last season and had huge spats with mancini??

whatever Adri wnk boy,

against Napoli Mancini took of Dejan 10 mins into the second half,Mancio has already benched Dejan twice this term

anyway i stand on my point, you are biased against Dejan and will give your life defending the likes of Adri and Maxwell(whose mistakes you blame on Dejan)

posters like yourself go for Adri first and Inter second, ciao pulsar

Deki is more important than Adriano because he's harder to replace. We have 4 forwards that are better than Adriano, he's not so hard to replace.

Alot of people on this forum argued that Adriano, deserved to stay on the pitch more then Cruz. Adriano may have got more touches on the ball, but that doesn’t make him the better performer. For example, let’s say out of 20 touches Adriano looses possession 10 times, and Cruz out of 9 touches turns the ball over once. Although Adriano may have been more involved on the pitch he still was not efficient enough to stay on. For every time a player asks for the ball and loses possession he may have lost a potential scoring opportunity. Personally I would love for Adriano to retain that form that he once showed the entire world, but unfortunately it’s not happening. Inter have a wealth of 5 strikers that can be starters on any other team, so if one is underperforming he is going to get benched and if that disappoints him then maybe things are not working out and he should look elsewhere. Someone tried to argue that Henry blossomed into an amazing player but because of the coach at juventus he wasn’t able too. That is not an acceptable argument for many players get transferred to different clubs and find the right style and atmosphere to blossom. Inter also lost bergam to arsenal, who as well didn’t blossom at inter but was a big player at arsenal. You can’t blame the coach for one players lack of form, for all the other players under mancini are performing to there potential. If you have an odd case it doesn’t mean your going to find that one coach who will fit that one player’s style. Adriano is one player amongst a whole roster full of stars. The last thing inter needs is another recoba scenario, where an owners admiration, detained a player for years from showcasing the world his true colors. And unfortunately the same goes to Adriano. Some people are biased because they have this emotional attachment to a certain player, but that cannot let ones judgment get into the way. What’s more important is the philosophy and chemistry of a club in which they operate and changing it to accustom one player is stupid.

funny how people are saying adriano played crap today (aka worst than cruz, thus deserved to be subbed in he 55min)

here's a pic from inter.it ratings by fans...

now i don't agree with him being over 8, but cruz was definitely worst than him....
he was not involved in plays, lost the ball just as much as adriano, squandered a better chance (from ibra), and of course, did not score...
