I don't think anyone will pay Brozovic's clause... which is good as I want him to stay.

We must get rid of Joao Mario no matter what - obviously we need to try and find a good deal for ourselves. I'd probably let him go for anything over 20 million.

If Croetia gets a deep run in the world cup, I see no reason for it no to happen - unfortunately!

That €50m release clause for foreign teams really needs to be removed. It would be a fucking slap in the face for us to have finally got the best version of Brozovic only to lose him now to some little cunt EPL team like West Ham. With the way he's been playing for the past 6 months, Brozovic should be considered a guaranteed starter for next season.

Brozo still would need to agree to go there! Luckily i dont see him accepting a midtable epl team and i dont think a big club will come for him!

I mean the player can refuse. It's not like Nottingham Forest triggers his clause he is forced to play in the Championship.

Agreed, surprised we didn't do that prior to the World Cup; even if we sell him, potentially we could extract more + we wouldn't be caught off gourd without time to get a replacement.

I have to agree that even if some mid-table EPL side activates his release clause, I don't see any reason why Brozovic would leave a starting XI position on a Champions League squad to play in England. I think he's secure here.

I mean, until Neymar happened a 50M Euro release clause for Brozovic would've seemed like something no team would've touched. Neymar, and what's happened since then, has really skewed how we see release clauses now.

The people we actually have to renew we aren't doing anything, but first thing we do is rush to renew fucking Vecino's contract.

Mind blown.

Who said we are talking about mid-table EPL? And even then, who else you had in mind apart from Arsenal and Everton? I think this is the least likely league to get him
I think there are potentially some teams in both Bundesliga and La Liga that could do it. Especially the later.

Outside of the top three from Spain, I can't think of any team in that league who would be willing to pay that kind of release clause. Bundesliga also doesn't have teams that traditionally shell out that kind of money outside of Bayern; Dortmund's been the #2 team in that league overall for a long time now and they're a sellers club, so if that's what they do you can only imagine what it's like with Schalke, Leipzig, Leverkusen, Gladbach (go Foals), so on, and so forth.

And I'm going to stick to thinking about the release clause because he's worth more than that so he's certainly not being sold for anything less than that.

Out. (Reason: too much saudade)

He's still looking good in those colours. Yes, they are more "Gremio" than "Inter", but close enough.

Like who we should renew? Vecino's contract renewal is for lowering his amortization value per year.
