For the role of trequartista, i.e. playing in the hole behind the strikers, Stankovic is not consistent, Cassano is not team-working especially in the defending, Deco is somewhat old (even though he is much younger than Zanetti), Lavezzi is somewhat young and expensive for his ability now, Sneijder is not in the sale list of Real. So, it's van der Vaart who will come to Inter, I think.

As far as I know, Sneijder is more like a CM, VDV lacks in defending compared to him. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

overall in footballing terms sneider is probably better of...he is more box to box whereas vdv is more of an attacking/wing midfielder...however diff circumstances call for diff players...id settle for cassano and deco

I will welcome this player if he joins Inter, definitvly my favourite midfielder, just bring him in Inter and you'll see changes in our midfield, he can help us in every competition, he was great at Hamburg, but in Real he didn't have enaugh time, so c'mon with us Rafael and be star here

We are INTER and we have not had a proper AM for years. Perhaps Sneijder will fit us better, whatever, they are both 10x better than Stanko.

Ribery wont solve our midfield problem. Im sure most of us would LOVE to have Fabregas, but not every is a dreamer dude

Considering how the market is, I don't there is a player who's excellent who fits perfectly into the team. Although I believe that Sneijder would be a great acquisition for us.
