Don't really get all the Radja comments, especially this early in the season. Clearly he's not at 100% and still developing chemistry with his teammates, but he's already become irreplaceable in my view. His final passes are flat out magic. He's pressing the ball in defense for 90' and provides cover intelligently when needed. And we know he can score from out of nothing. Our midfield is our weakest link-- this is clear, but if you take Radja out of this team, we're the same boring, unimaginative team as we were last season.

Perhaps controversial, but I think he's way more suited to Spallo's CAM role than Rafinha ever was. I liked Rafinha and would welcome him back with open arms, but he was never worth the crazy sums Barca was asking, whereas I think Radja is very worth what we paid.

I don't think anyone would take Rafinha infront of Nainggolan. The thing was that we wanted Nainggolan AND Rafinha.

Nainggolan proving that experience matters. I know people want Inter to be a Liverpool/Dortmund, but results always come first.

After a series of Borja and Joao Mario sideways passing, I am glad we have someone who runs to penalty box to receive the ball and someone who is able to take a shot. We have bad luck when he was injured at preseason which impedes his fitness so far, but it is amazing that this guy can contribute so much although he is less than 100 %.

Disappointing we cannot be Liverpool and Dortmund and then take it one step further.

Other player should take a lesson how to made an impact shot, especially for Vecino, gagsy and Candreva.

You can tell he attempts things where he expects his body to obey, but he just ends a being a step too slow, or a pinch too weak. A great game nonetheless. Hope he keeps improving.

This is why I wanted Nainggolan to join and why I got so excited when he did. He adds such an incredible threat from the midfield that we haven't seen in a very long time. I can see him finishing with double digits in the goals scored column this season.

Yesterday it wasn't just his goal threat (and goal) that was great, but also the intensity and energy he brought into our attack. Whenever Inter had the ball in the final third we moved with purpose and intent, and a lot of credit for that goes to Nainggolan. His attitude and body language is the leadership we were missing.

I mean, even compared to Rafinha who was more creative and skilful and also made attacking moves with intent, Nainggolan brings more intensity and leadership. And a bigger goal threat. I loved every aspect of his game yesterday, and I can't wait to see him when his fitness is 100%.

His dribbling, touch, pass accuracy is better than what i thought a year ago. I use to rate him as a complete midfielder who can defend and score, but not as this talented.

Finally we have a central midfielder who plays with a purpose. Nainggolan isn't your typical Inter midfielder who does shit ass pointless sideway and back passes for 90 minutes. He tries to do something productive everytime he has the ball. As a result, he tends to look sloppy but I very much welcome it. That's what I like about him. We have had so many crappy pussies as our midfielders, who are scared shitless to make forward passes in order to look like the so called 'players who hardly put a foot wrong', but in actuality are just a bunch of clueless unproductive bastards. I am sick of that.

I'd rather have a 'sloppy' player like Nainggolan who has the balls to play with an intent at all times any time, any day.

The difference to have one goalscoring midfielder and none like last year is HUGE. Inter used to have player like Vecino who had shoot at best only just inched away from the goal. With Nainggolan you can be sure the goal will happen. Also there is some Politano crossing/corner aim to him, expecting more of PoliNaing combo in the future.

It's pretty normal for a guy who had no preseason to have a slow start, I think vs PSV we finally saw the real Nainggolan hopefully he keeps it up.

Eh it's not particularly bad. He put one ball directly on Icardis feet.

Radja Nainggolan claims Roma “did things behind my back”, and he joined Inter after they tried to sell him to foreign clubs “that I’d never accept”.

The midfielder was a fan favourite at the Stadio Olimpico, but this summer he moved north to reunite with Luciano Spalletti.

“The end wasn’t my fault, or at least not completely,” Nainggolan insisted in his interview with Gazzetta dello Sport.

“I was disappointed by some actions which, as a man, I cannot accept. I got things wrong, no question, like that video on New Year’s Eve…

“But they did things without telling me anything, rather than talking face-to-face like men.

“Roma wanted to cash in on my transfer, I found out that they’d agreed with foreign clubs that I’d never accept. I was treated like an unimportant player, they did things behind my back.

“At that point Spalletti called me and I didn’t think for long. At first I had regret, but I’ve been welcomed very well here.

“I’ve found a very well-organised club here, they know what they’re doing and everyone is always present.

“Steven Zhang is always here, whereas at Roma the President [James Pallotta] visits once a year…

“I think a person should be present at the helm of his company, and it’s also important for the fans. Every year they change three or four players, maybe if the

President was there he could better explain those changes.”

Nainggolan has frequently taken shots at Juventus in the past, but does he think anyone can stop them winning the Scudetto this season?

“They’re strong, they’ve been winning for seven years, but it’s a long season and there haven’t been many head-to-head matches so far.

“We’ll need to be good to stay on their tail and lose as few matches as possible, so we can be ready to take advantage of their slip-ups.

“Why the antipathy? I’ve suffered so many times that at a certain point you just can’t do it anymore.

“But they wanted me for five years in a row! I always said no, and maybe that’s why they still feel that toward me.

“Cristiano Ronaldo? He’s a chance to bring visibility to a league that had lost it, and an incentive for us to try to beat him.

“Between him and Messi I choose Leo. Cristiano needs the team, whereas Messi sometimes dribbles past four or five players and wins a match on his own.”

The Belgian was also asked about the Champions League and his future plans.

“It’s an ‘easier’ tournament than Serie A,” Nainggolan insisted.

“There are six group games and everyone plays to win, whereas in Italy everyone puts 10 men behind the ball and you have to make a huge effort to break them down.

“My mohican? Enough, I’m 30 now and you won’t see it anymore. I kept it for a long time though, and I’m glad children copied my hairstyle.

“The best I’ve played with? Taking [Francesco] Totti out of it, I think of [Miralem] Pjanic. Juventus without him are not Juventus. And then there’s Maicon, you’d look at him and think: ‘how the Hell did you do that?’.

“Will Inter be my last team? It could be. Not least because I won’t play for long.”

Probably regret when he saw Vecino trying to make a pass against Sassuolo.

Little worrying to hear that he already has retirement on his mind...
