That's fine. I proposed it because I believe it will reduce troll posts and worthless posts and make members think twice before writing another stupid message.

I believe there are a lot of empty posts here with no weight, one-line short messages, swearing in every post, and even spreading hate.

Indeed, this option has the potential to reduce forum discussion.

If the decision is made in this manner, I must respect it.

People should be able to make ''stupid'' posts. Stupid is a opinion. Same is empty posts. It's all just opinions. People should be free to speak their mind. If they break the house rules the mods will take actions and they do a great job imo. They are all just paid volunteers...

Ideally, something like this would have benefitted from a poll to see how all of us feel before the decision is made since FIF is a community. Most of us are grown ups that won’t give a shit if somebody did leave a thumbs down cause they disagreed.
