The forum cant display youtu.be addresses that are given automatically to you when you click on copy link. Convert those to youtube.com and they should display.

Well, it's not that much of an effort to delete a full stop and add a .com to the address If the admins are in the mood maybe the plugin that enables embedding could be updated to a newer version that hopefully removes this problem.

There's also some shit at the end of the URL that needs to be removed. I've had the same problem and was able to embed a video successfully on different occasions, sadly I don't remember what exactly was needed to trick the forum into displaying them properly. Let's see...

So for example that's an URL that I copied using the YouTube mobile app: https://youtu.be/GjrsjRWUmj8

And that's the URL that will work on the forum: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GjrsjRWUmj8

The identificator after the slash "GjrsjRWUmj8" is what you need to manually add after "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=", which is also displayed on the tooltip in the dialog box for embedding here.
