it's true, there are a lot of players that have covid19.... of course, stadiums will again be closed, but i think that the season will start anyway.

Also depending on where the players holidayed they may have to quarentine upon return like Harry kane. Hopefully the club told them all to stay and holiday in Italy

Yeah, the one I’m most annoyed with is Lukaku has been called up as well. Guy pretty much played every single minute for us and he’s basically had 1 week rest. That’s mad

This whole Nations League, is another money grab albeit without fans, however I will probably watch it. If I remember correctly, it does help with seeding for the Euro-qualifiers hence the abuse of top players despite the season for some just ending.

As I remember the Nations League was meant to get rid of meaningless friendly matches. In reality though, the games remain just as meaningless as before but now there’s even less incentive for coaches to experiment with systems and newer players.

Training starts for Hakimi and loaned players this week: Wednesday or Thursday.
Training camp starts next Monday, September 7th. Might be without those with national team commitment.

Should have at least 20 days to prepare. Inter’s request to delay first Serie A match apparently has been accepted by the league.
