I am certainly in favor of bringing Brandt to Inter. He can play on both sides. The problem is i can't see Leverkusen selling him for less than 60m. If Leverkusen decide to sell him we will face a fierce competition with EPL teams. The player will also ask to be guaranteed a starting position. That was the reason he had rejected offers from Liverpool and Bayern in the past.

None of these are actual left wingers though.
Draxler can play there as well of course but not as effectively as he can on the right. Chiesa would be awkward on the left given how he's usually slotted on the right but I think he has the ability to pull it off. Bailey can also play on both sides, plays more on the left these days, but is much better on the right imo.

There's no player who can be guaranteed to start over Perisic if we sign him now unless we go for Neymar or Hazard.

If we want to go for potential who can get lots of playing time and is versatile enough to coexist, we have to look no further than Julian Brandt. If I hear we're going to spend 40m on him I wouldn't be pissed. If I hear that we're going to spend 40m on Thorgan Hazard or Draxler I will be

Draxler actually either played behind striker(s) or on the left so here I disagree. he may not be a default LW but he played there a lot.
Chiesa is actually playing there for Italy now and IMO does as good as on the right side. When he played against Poland there he was best on the pitch by a large margin.
Bailey I dont know much about.

About Brandt. I actually thought about him and I think It would be sweet but the reason I have no included him is that I didnt think it falls under ‘realistic targets.’

I just watched Levante with Sociedad and was really impressed by this 23-year old Macedonian Enis Bardhi. Really impressive gave, amazing free-kicks (!!!) and crosses. If possible I would totally see this guy as an option for us - not for the first team and regular starts for us at his current skill level but definitely an option for bench and for further development.

Transfermarkt values him at only 10m euro, not sure how much we would need to pay but defo worth monitoring.

The comentators mentioned he is much much much better than last season so watch him play please before basing it on that timeframe.

Judging by our official financial report, Bastoni cost us 31m euro, so I wouldn't be too surprised if we splash 40m on pretty unproven material like T.Hazard.

I am actually pointing exactly at the fact that we DO splash the cash on unproven players. 15+Caprari for Skriniar, 31m for Bastoni (though latter I guess it's just the result of shady deal with Atalanta, I don't think that exact amound was paid). And so the purchase of people like T.Hazard wouldn't surprise me, neither in negative nor in a positive way. I think you need to get hold of yourself, too much overreaction.

When I get excited about us being linked to a player I like, we usually don't get him and we get somebody else (no Firmino, no Hazard). The last time when I was really hyped for a player was Sneijder.

I'm not holding my breath, but we are getting better at getting good alternatives.

Handanovic was goalkeeper of the season when we got him and was coveted by many clubs during his Udinese years. It was that every club was sort of set by the time except Roma who wanted him but didn't want to pay what Udinese was asking.
Icardi had make himself known.

Skriniar was a starter for a Serie A club for a whole year.

If you mean Partay then I mentioned in another thread that apparently he is due to leave Atleti in January (for PSG or Arsenal). It would be a perfect option for us, especially considering his experience at RB in case Vrsalijko gets injured again.
