Stankovic and Gerard are so similar, for me Stankovic is better because he's ours.:D

And his passion towards Inter cant be rivalled by a Liverpool player who's childhood dream is to play for Liverpool.

And yes, Viera, Zlatan , Dacourt and the rest have so much passion for Inter that I do not know how they could have ever played for another club!
C'mon!!!
Gerard, apart from being a die-hard Liverpool fan, is also a great professional.. He's also a hard worker and on those kind of players this year's Inter sucess is being build on.. Let's take into account that he also defends well, has great perception of the field, great pass, great driblling, amazing shot and I think that there would be no greater addition to this Inter team!!! Liverpool yet again fails to match his great ambition and Rafa's rotation policy - maybe not the best arguments for his transfer but still.. every now and then I read about Juve's interest.. And well, if Juve can bid for him, why can't we? Taking intoaccount that trasfer to Chelsea would be considered a treason and well Real isn't any longer the most desirable abroad destination and I say that we would be his best choice :p
Imagine, Deki and Gerard could switch places whenever they want, and we could also switch to 4-4-2 flat (Gerard-Cuchu-Viera-Deki) in a split of a second..

We need to go for a very creative player...
I wd love Gerrard to come...but that has to be at expense of Deki :( or Vieira :)

Why so?

I cannot understand why some of you reject Gerard because with his characteristics he is too similar to what we already have.. Since when being a hard worker is something that excludes creativity? It's just a stupid football prejudice.. Cos Gerard has it both - creativity and will to work hard..
I see nothing wrong with that.. just as opposite - that's why Gerard would be perfect for this Inter team..

Perfectly agrre with you regazzofortunato

His character type is something special. He is true winner and always is fighting until the end. He would be just perfect as we can see:

...............Deki
Cambiasso Vieira Gerrard

That's probably the best midfeld in the world

believe it or not, playing gerrard behind the strikers is a much better option

gerrard doesnt have the range deki has and it would kill his game having to run wide or play behind another midfielder

or u can switch deki and gerrard in game to confuse opponents... man thats mouth watering

plus deki is more or less being used a jack-of-all-trades utility midfielder by mancini

PLUS!! added bonus of making a transfer coup as jube want gerrard as well

i so want jube to fail to make enough signings and lose buffon and camo in the process

I'd rather have Totti than Gerrard. Totti: 140 Serie A goals and counting and still leading scorer in Serie A (I can safely say no one will surpass him this season) I'm sure he can offer us way more than what Stevie can.

way more?? totti is an out and out no. 10

inter doesnt require a no. 10 since we seem to making quite enough chances to result in at least 2-3 goals per game

if anything, we need even more midfield power, gerrard can defend for 3 players if he set his mind on it and can play everywhere in midfield, cant say ive ever seen totti play DM

or if totti ever did leave roma for inter, do you think hed accept playing in a system where hes not the focal point?

with gerrard, inter would have a powerful, dynamic midfield that can mould itself to any opposition, i cant see that with totti at inter

I'd also say, that Gerrard would be the greatest transfer.

------------Adriano--Zlatan-------------
-------------------Deki------------------
-----Cuchu-----Gerrard----Tractor------

Quaresma!!
Hell yeah!
This guy needs to come here, Moratti should really put much money next summer for this gu to convince Porto to release him before anyone does it before us, forget Messi, or Ronaldinho, this is the guy who we could really get because whatever his sellout clause, it will never be as expensive as Messi or Ronaldinho and he will be worth every cent of the money we pay to get him.

Gerrard in the Dream Player thread?:lala: Maybe Nightmare Player thread, or in a who player you'd never want to see playing for Inter:stuckup:

I saw a big fat joke earlier in this thread... I heard that Gerrard is creative and has great dribbling:lol:

I've never seen him actually dribble! All he does in run forward with the ball while watching his feet, and if he's lucky, the guy in front of him will fall down himself, or let him pass, or Gerrard will be very lucky and the ball will simply ricohet in his advantage(as most of the times)!!!

Gerrard is a leading figure at Liverpool, no one can doubt that. But that's all he can do! He's no superstar. He's just an average-skilled player, probably better than most average players in England that plays with passion but no skill!

When he dribbles, he even confuses himself! But since both(him and the opponent) are confused, he's closer to the ball and moves on:lol:

And don't tell me about his passing and shooting. Yeah he's got nice shooting. I'd have nice shooting if I had 10 attempts per game and scored one in every two games!!!! And about his passing, it's awful. I mean creative passing, not the simple cross/pass. That's why Xabi Alonso is the soul of Liverpool's midfield creativity and Gerrard is just the captain...

hes not the best scoring midfielder in the world, but hes pretty good at it

hes not the best passer or the best dribbler but theyre not his jobs

what you cant deny is that he made his name as a ball winner, and with that in mind, how cant you call him one of the better central midfielders out there?? not even stankovic is that well balanced

can u honestly say, that gerrard wouldnt turn our midfield into a passing, tackling, shooting whirlwind??

if next season's midfield looked like gerrard, cambiasso, vieira and stankovic, with each player being able to play any position in that diamond four, opposing teams would snap like twigs just from being dominated by them alone
