Platini - Too early for Didier

by Nadia Carminati
Former France and Juventus star Michel Platini feels Didier Deschamps is not ready to coach the Turin giants.
Platini has responded to the fact that the Monaco boss has been constantly linked with a return to Stadio delle Alpi in the summer if, as has been predicted, Marcello Lippi departs.
"Managing a team like this (Juve) is difficult," Platini told L'Equipe.
"It's one thing training Monaco and quite another one coaching Juve.
"Deschamps isn't ready for Italy.
"I think he will be in two or three years' time."
The Bianconeri have also been linked with the likes of Chievo's Luigi Del Neri, Cesare Prandelli of Parma and Gianluca Vialli, but Deschamps appears to be a strong contender if the job becomes available.
