Planning a trip to some Scandinavia countries...

Ciao a tutti! I'm planning a trip to Stockholm, Helsinki, Oslo and Copenhagen in June. This is the first time for me and my friends to travel alone to Europe. I've drafted the itinerary as shown below. Could some of you Scandinavians please kindly evaluate it? How long do you think I need to go through these places and what should my budget be if I just stay in some hostels? Thanks a lot!

Domkirke (church), Stortinget (government house), Nasjonaltheateret, Nasjonalgalleriet and Vigelandsparken is in Oslo and you can easily catch all these in one day. They are easy accessable with metro, tram and buses (depending on where you stay). Eidsvollsplass is in Eidsvoll, which is located around 70 km north of Oslo, but you can get there by bus I think (not sure). Anyway, you can easily get there in some way as it's a very important place for Norwegian history, thus it is a great tourist attraction. For those who don't know, this was where the Norwegian constition first was constructed.

Bergen is located in western Norway (I think some six hours by train from Oslo) and was a pivotal trade city for a long time. Very nice town which is frequently visited by tourists as well. I have never been there, but I know it's nice. Bring an umbrella though, it rains as hell

Sognefjorden is a typical Norwegian fiord which sneaks in between mountains. This is what most foreigners think of first when they hear Norway I think. Very typical Norwegian nature. Beautiful IMHO It is located a bit north of Bergen.

Mygrda.... have no idea whatsoever what this could be.

Well first of all Tampere is in Finland, not in Sweden. And Muumilaakso isn't in Tampere, it's in Naantali (small town near Turku)

To your plan I would say, waht do you guys want to see and how old are you? Do you like museums in general etc.? I can give some tips for Finland and Sweden if you just ask. Helsinki and Stockholm are both beautiful cities, still you can see all there is to see in 1-2 days, but hanging out in both of them in June is nice.

Thank you all of you! However, after searching for the price, it's too expensive for some budget travelers like me. (esp when I have to spend a long journey from HK to Europe) Therefore, I now change the destination to Milan, Florence and Venice with my friends. The air tickets just cost me EUR 470 with a stopover at London. I will try to contact you guys for help for more details.

Bad jokes aside, I'd love to visit Norway and see some of those northern light and fjords. We got some in Canada but they are way up north, probably it will cost same time and money to just go to Norwary.

Denmark is a very odd. I was there a few months back in 2003. I was there again last week, it's weird they close all the shops at 6 pm, it just doesn't make sense.

Then Australia is probably your ideal destination as, I believe, they close shops at 4-5 pm. :dielaugh:

op shops, post offices, government offices close at 4-5ish.

The only thing you need open at 3am are clubs and kebab stores. oh god, so good.

shops close at 5:30-6pm here so not going to be anything new for me

only things open 24 hour are supermarkets, kebab shops and clubs
