Contract almost agreed, final details being discussed and then deal will be completed on a free transfer

Same situation as Mehdi Taremi, verbal agreement to join Inter in July is almost done since one month

Good reinforcements. We need to get our future gk and another threat out wide on the right if Dumfries is sold and I think we are solid for next season. The season after we can replace Arnautovic with Carboni and Mkhitaryan with Fabbian and fill some gaps made by other departures. This is assuming a near zero net transfer budget, which is how it has been and I have no reason to suspect will change. Best case scenario is that we have some money to play around with and can be more selective.

Great addition. We need more depth, next season will be loooong one with the Club World Cup coming in USA in summer 2025. Also +2 CL matches by default. 8 "group" stage matches instead of the current 6 (assuming we enter the knockout rounds). Depth is absolutely necessary and Zielinski brings exactly that.

I assume we'll be on the lookout for a defender - maybe not this summer, but the next one, especially given both De Vrij and Acerbi will have expiring contracts. Maybe Darmian as well.

There are some good options but sadly they play at positions we're set (Hermoso, Ndidi, Casteels). I could only see us going for Fulham cb, Adarabioyo.
