Born: 4 February 1995, Uganda.
Position: Left wing, right wing and attacking midfielder.
Height: 1.71 m
Nationality: Danish

I'm in love with this guy. Seriously. I have not watched much Danish football in the last many years but I have as a Dane watched a lot of news about this guy. His technique, dribbling, speed, passes and vision are brilliant. He will make his debut on the national team in the next match and I'm sure he will form a great duo with Christian Eriksen for the years to come. He scored three goals in his first and so far lonely U21 match. His parents celebrated his selection for this game in a traditional African way which shows how down-to-earth he and his family are. http://sporten.tv2.dk/fodbold/2014-...-saadan-et-pressemoede-har-du-aldrig-set-foer

This video was created last year but this season has been even better for him.

Arsenal, Barcelona, Juventus and Porto have had scouts out looking at him multiple times and especially Arsenal seems to be keen on him. I wouldn't mind if we took the chance on him but tbh I don't think this club will be the ideal place for him as I think he may develop even better at Porto. I have therefore submitted this thread in this forum and not in the one for transfers and rumours.

Edit: Milan seems to be interested as well according to Calciomerto: http://www.calciomercato.com/news/il-milan-segue-pione-sisto-l-eriksen-nero-368588

Off topic, but since we're talking about a Daneish talent. Wtf happened to Viktor Fischer?

Fischer has sadly been injured a lot in Ajax. The same goes for his teammate Nicolai Boilesen.

The U21 European Championship in a few weeks will be very interesting as the Danish U21 team just has selected Pione Sisto together with Højbjerg (Bayern München), Fischer (Ajax), Yussuf Poulsen (RB Leipzig), Okore (Aston Villa), Vestergaard (Werder Bremen), Andreas Christensen (Chelsea) and Lasse Vigen (Fulham) just to mention the most well-known players. Eriksen, Lucas Andersen and Andreas Cornelius was not selected.

He looks great, reminds a bit of Guarin, just that he knows how to shoot. He'll be big in a couple of years, surely.

Guarin? His technique and vision on the field are already miles ahead of Guarin. I will feel insulted if someone compared me to him. Pione does not make 5 long shots each game and a number of fucked up passes.

He reminds me a lot more of Shaqiri if it has to be an Inter player because of the similarities in positions, vision, speed, creativity, flair and height. He is of course not as physical strong.

guarin's problem is not his technique. if anything he has all the goods to be a world beater.. its how he uses his tools that is the problem. same goes with kuz and hernanes

Yeah idk about Kuz, I mean athleticism has to be a trait in order to be a world beater.

If u lack a brain, then you clearly don't have all the tools to be world class player.

Thats the point.

also, re kuz, i mentioned him only as another player in our squad whose technique does not equate to his overall quality as a player. im not going to be the guy that says kuzmanovic would be world class if he had a decent brain. :yao:

I agree Guarins problem is more about his brain aka using his tools. However I still think Sisto has a better technique. Of course is Guarin a better player overall at this point but I rather want a clever player than a player with better tools but without a brain to use them. With this said I don't see a similarity between them and I think this is an another discussion we should take in the thread for Guarin. :)

Scouts and coaches from Bayern München, Chelsea, Liverpool, Dortmund, Wolfsburg, Tottenham, Bayern Leverkusen, Fiorentina, PSV and HSV are today visiting the Danish national stadium for the todays match between Denmark and Serbia.

It should be because of Pione Sisto and Yussuf Poulsen. The interesting aspect of this is the U21 championship later this month. It seems like some teams may be afraid of waiting with signing Sisto after the tournament in case of him playing well and thereby having more competing clubs trying to sign him.

He got the last 30 minutes today in the first match for the Danish team in the European U21 championship against Czech Republic and scored the match winning goal. Not a beautiful goal but of course important. Victor Fisher didn't play well and was picked out in favor of Sisto which he didn't take well as he went directly to the dressing room afterwards. Fischer, Sisto and Yussuf Poulsen are competing for the two spots on the wings and hopefully will Sisto start in the next match.
