It's the truth. Decent starting debut, but overall very average performance. It's his first start after all.

Hold on, Good goal? all he did was make space for himself (which isnt hard to do when your running at pace at a back pedaling CB) and shot directly at the GK (as always with Cou) and got lucky it went in..

That this bad? I would have thought many people on here watch the premiership? . . Swansea are a very decent side. They didn't put out their reserves either Williams and Hernadez started. Michu was rested. I'm not sure that accounts for the complete domination hat liverpool served up on them. Going by his debut and my first time seeing him play, I would say that Coutinho did well enough when he got involved in the game but I don't feel that i really saw him in the mix as often as I would have liked. This will take time though and hopefully with a run of games, we will see him develope as a player. I really liked his through ball. many players would have passed it directly to the player in that situation as there was space for it but he still tried to give the player the chance to take a shot first time.

No one expects him to turn the game around in 10 minutes. I don't expect him to turn things around in 90 minutes. He is still very raw, he needs minutes and he will not get them in Liverpool.

Yes he will get them at Liverpool.

Sterling is useless and Rodgers has figured that out. his place is Coutinhos for the taking.

It was a shit goal, and he was invisible most of the game, and he missed that easy chance.

I think his talent is only as good as Kerlon's, we got a good deal for him.
