According to Channel4 it is not 10 mill buy only 3..

Also local and national newspapers here say it's 3 million (3,8 to be exactly) and I believe Gazetta said the same but I'm not sure.

Don't know to guy, but I think we know what we're doing. (Read: I hope we know what we we're doing.)

Because we're just jealous of Kaka's emergence when he signed for Milan.

Good words from him in this age. Seems like a humble person. I hope he will stay that way.

Interesting thing is that he says that he is best in the position behind the front two, so that would mean he is more or less a trequartista. I wonder how Jose would bring him in the team.

Messi is also a trequista it doesn't mean he can't play on the wing. I haven't seen coutinho so I don't know if he has the speed to play there but some trequista's can.

That's ofcourse the only position he can play in 4-3-3 of Jose :>

But you know, I'm rather wondering how he would imput him in the team, a player who describe himself rather a player who plays in final third, than a player who can play on the wing.

You know, that wasn't actually a question for debate, it was just a "here I wonder" type of sentence ;)

paying 3-4 million for a 16 year old that cant come till he is 18 is a waste of money I dont care what happens with the kid we should have just waited it out..... $4 million is alot !!! for a player who might never make it

every year in Brazil there is a 17 year old wonder kid and not all of them become something.... any one hear of that Kerlon guy who was supose to be the new Ronaldniho and look what happened to him, or hell Pato who was like 30 million and hasnt done anything

Why wasn't the colombian guy a scout for Barca. (then maybe we could have gotten Messi)

Football is all about taking risks. Its fine you don't liek to but to say it's stupid to so is stupid! What if this guy becomes they new Kaka?! So why the fuck not?! Even if he does suck for us I'm sure we will be able to sell him for more than what we paid.

Sometimes nothing we do, can satisfy people.

If we don't buy a young tallents, bad, but when we do, and make the most of the youth south american transfers since many years, then it's still not good enough.

Sometimes people should just make their fuckin mind.

I really don't get some people over here. Pato was bought for 15million euros. Ok, he proved to be good signing, but he was only 17 and easily could be flop.
We bought 16 years old Brazilian, who is considered very talented for just 4 million euros. So, in fact we can have 4 future prospects for the money Bilan gave for Pato.
All i am asking from u people is to stop bitching. Thanks.

Agreed..

Wait for what? Wait for Coutinho's price to get inflated to 20mil, and then go for him?

If he fails, fine, we lost 4 mil at most. If he turns out to be really good, we missed a talent, or we'd probably lose 20mil otherwise.

It's not like it's free raising a player like Bolzoni, who has been at Inter since 11, in the academy either. Nothing is free and I think our spending per succesful youth player is pretty big, regardless if they are "bought" at 7 or 17.

Even if he doesnt turn out to be a world beater I doubt we'll have a hard time selling a guy like him for around the same price we bought him. He has enough natural talent.

4 millions is nothing today. Diego was a complete failure at Porto, but because of his natural talent Werder Bremen bought him for almost as much as Porto did.

The new interview with our future star(lets hope).

Coutinho: I Will Be Inter's Kaka!
Inter play-maker Coutinho admits he wants to become the new Kaka and take the Nerazzurri by storm...

The Brazilian is currently owned by the Italians but he is on-loan to Vasco da Gama. Inter paid €3.8m for him but he will not join the club until 2010 when he turns 18.

Countinho is regarded as one of the hottest properties in football and he is tipped to become the 'new Kaka'.

The Fantasista has spoken of all things Calcio and he reveals he inspires himself on Inter's bitter city rivals star Kaka.

"I inspire myself on Kaka, I really like him so much. He is the ideal player and I want to be like him. He can score and he creates plenty he does everything," Coutinho told Calciomercato.com.

"I also like [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic and Adriano who is one of my idols. I can see myself play behind those two players. I also like [Riccardo] Quaresma."Ronaldinho? He has an incredible touch on him."

The young star also spoke about Jose Mourinho and, although he hasn't yet met him, he cannot wait to play for him.

"I would like to meet Mourinho. I hope I can when I got to Italy next," added the player.

"He wasn't there when I first arrived at the club for a medical but I know he is a great coach and I cannot wait to work for him, I really hope it happens.

"Serie A? It's the best league in the world and I am looking forward to playing there. It will be very important to play in Italy and I will give my best to do it."

Coutinho was born in Rio de Janiero and he is known for his prowess as an attacking midfielder.

He is a cross between Alexandre Pato and Kaka. Many have compared him to the Brazilian play maker and Inter wasted no time in snapping him up.
