Wouldn't Alex always play the strongest players available? In my mind not playing Wes is, in fact, favouritism to other direction. Or do you think that the reason for fielding Wes would be that he is a favourite of Gasperini?

just putting it out there. we don't really know Gasp yet, and we won't be able to work him out until well into the season.

As for Alex, he plays 'horses for courses' ! He has shown many times that he is not afraid to leave out top players !

I have no problem with Wesley being on the bench. He has played in Finland and in Holland over these last few weeks, it's only good that he can get some rest considering he's probably our most important player. He will start on Wednesday.


I just hope Deki doesn't play as shitty as he did in preseason.

Gasp seems to like Stankovic. He plays him alot.

I prefer to see Zanetti instead of Stankovic and Obi instead of Zanetti. Even Muntari instead of Stankovic would be an upgrade IMO.

I'm sorry. I can't believe I said that myself either but its true. At least I think it's true.

According to what I saw in pre-season, Stankovic was awful but Muntari was actually trying. Our team is too slow and old and Muntari might be a dumbass but at least he runs and tries. Stanko is just static, doesn't move.

Come on! don't you think that might be a little bit true? just a bit??
