Inter meet for Candreva and Zabaleta
Agent Federico Pastorello had a meeting with Inter for both Antonio Candreva and Pablo Zabaleta today.
"I am talking to Inter about both Candreva and Zabaleta," confirmed Pastorello to Telelombardia.
Zabaleta’s contract with Manchester City is due to expire in June 2017 and Pastorello did mention in the past that a move to Italy was very probable.
Roma are also known to be interested in the full-back, but he’d relish a reunion with ex-Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini.

Mancini's favourite for the right wing position, I think we will try to sign him.

1 more year left on his deal AND has spanish citizenship! I wouldn't be surprised at all...

does anybody knows his wage? I bet Cristian Ansaldi is on half of his salary.

Pablo Zabaleta £90,000 per week (Yaya Toure - £220,000 per week for example)

this is before taxes and in pounds so - £4m per year x 1.3 = 5.2m EUR = -45% (taxes) = ~ 3m EUR wage per year!

We can give him 2 or 3 years contact for 3m per year for sure (we have agreement with Ansaldi for 2m) but Zabaleta price will be 2-3m i guess! (Genoa wants 8m for Ansaldi)

For me Zabaleta is 100 times better than noname aka Ansaldi! So we must go for him, also he will link perfect with Yaya Toure and Candreva and Mancini!

City are close to Stephan Lichtsteiner and have Sagna so Zabaleta is for sale for small price because he have just one year contact!

Inter have set the conditions for buying Pablo Zabaleta, the fullback is on his way out from City and has just one year left on his contract. According to the Daily Star the nerazzurri are ready to pay the Citizens 1,5 million pounds (1,9 M €) to get him to Milano in summer. The Inter directors have informed the 31 year olds agent that City would have to pay him the last year’s salary. Zabaleta will meet with City directors this month to discuss his future but it i unlikely that he will remain under Pep Guardiola. Roberto Mancini would be happy to coach him again though.

Remember when a transfer thread was made, the transfer rumors were very high and concrete?

Getting a 31 year old fullback On a 3 year contract with 3mio a year is fucking retarded! Imho it s even more stupid then wasting 5 a year on toure atleast with toure if he hits his form we have a beast of a player who can win games on his own. Even if it s very unlikely he ever gets close to his best i can stil see how one could be tempted by that prospect.

But Zabaleta? Even in his prime he never impressed me that much, yes he was a good RB Imho but thats it. Plus I feel like he has been diclining for atleast 2 seasons now so why should we get him?

Well, Zabaleta will play in Serie A anyway: if not here, Roma seem eager to sign him.

Roma signed Maicon so I am not surprised.

In last three years he managed to jizz in David Luiz shampoo, to spread pepper on one other teammate anus and to be thrown out of Selcao.

That was enough to sign for Roma.

Indeed. It is a fucking retarted move. If he got him for free and he would lower his salary like half, it could be okay. But still we would have AGAIN tons of RBs in our squad.

WTF it is with these side defenders?!

So with Ansaldi apparently on his way what was the need to open this thread?

It is sure we try to get him first - so Ansaldi was Zabaleta alternative!

maybe Zabaleta wants high wage and CL play!

I definitely believe we were involved with him; Mancini player and such. Just a coincidence we sign Asladi the day you open the thread.

Yesterday Inter signed Christian Ansaldi from Genoa to bolster the back line. However, the Nerazzurri are still in the market for another fullback. According to La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Inter are interested in Pablo Zabaleta. Although a deal seem unlikely, Mancini has a great relationship with the Argentine, and the player could leave this summer as his contract expires in a year. Zabaleta currently earns 3.5 million euros per year, but his agent Federico Pastorello could help Inter sign him. Pastorello is involved with many Inter players and targets including Samir Handanovic and Antonio Candreva.

Getting another fullback without selling any first would be retarded even by Mancini's standards.

We've already bought 2 fullbacks this transfer window. Why would we wanna get another one (apart from the Mancini fetish)?
