I'm gonna miss Oba, but I think this is exactley what he needs. He is such a physically gifted player, and at Inter he wasn't getting what he needed to blossom as a player. I guarentee he is going to tear up the EPL, and we are gonna see many back-flips to come!

This has so far been the only transfer Inter does that makes me cry. We all know Martins' reign in Inter was over the moment we sign Ibrahimovic but I had always been in denial that he would leave. I feel like a significant part of the reason why I support Inter has gone away.

I wish Martins all his best in his Newcastle career. :star: As dumb as I think the Ibra - Martins 'swap' move, big up to the management if there really is such a clause in this transfer.

To me he is a star and i rely miss him so much already. I will never forget him against milan in the CL semi final, his goal against Sampdoria (3-2 at home) and his goal in the match we won 3-2 against Milan last season. He reaction and celebration still makes me smile now.

At the end of the day his heart belongs with Inter, and it makes me so angry that we had to ship out Oba for that waste of space ibra.

Oba mate you are a star. I wish you all the luck in the world with your new team. I have a feeling we will see your wearing our jersey again.

After seeing that interview how could anyone say this kid is 28?! I mean seriously, he has a higher voice than I do. Oba can speak pretty decent English as well..

Oba hasnt scored that many for Inter, to be honest... 30 or 40 or so... You can/used to be able to find them all on the Internazionale website, though they might have removed the 'ease' of seeing them with his transfer...

49 goals in all competitions for Inter and there has to be a few for Nigeria. I looked on the Inter site and found the highlights but they're pretty poor quality. I'm trying to download about 30 or so of Martins goals from Emule at the moment, but who knows if I'll get them (P2P is crap..).

I'd really like to make a great compilation video. One that not only welcomes Martins to Newcastle but also is a testement to his time at Inter. I just need the material.
