It was not a horrible deal. Nainggolan got us the champions league and on the end of the day, both players are dumb fucks. We now even got money for his sale. If he stayed he would probably not even be in the rotation and just be loaned out for years, just like Esposito.

He would be loaned most probably, but this doesn't make the deal good. We could have gotten a better player than Nainggolan and to keep Zaniolo as well. The ninja was mediocre in most of the games, and it's true that his goal brought us CL, but this shouldn't change the facts about him. Vecino did the same, and he was a bad deal too.

Nainggolan having about 10, 15 good games for us and scoring a goal that made Inter qualify for CL doesn't make him a good transfer for us. Vecino also scored a goal that helped us go to CL...

Zaniolo has had 15 good games in 4 years.

He did?! Can't really remember he was that good for us. Only in a few matches.

Anyway, I don't really get this saying about a player getting us the CL spot or was all in all a good deal because he scored 1 goal in one certain match. What about all those matches that we lost points and he sucked in all of them?! Maybe if he was any good we were not fighting till the last fixture to get a CL spot.

Naingolann, Vidal and Vecino were all bad deals for Inter. Waste of money

Galatasaray have reportedly agreed to pay Roma over €20m total – €15m fixed with add-ons – for Zaniolo, who will have a €35m release clause in his contract.
The Giallorossi also hold a 15% resale clause, allowing them to further profit €5.25m should the Italian’s release clause be activated.
Seems like Milan and Roma acted smartly here, minimizing Inter`s 15% cut of the deal ;)

Galatasaray are acting as a proxy club and Roma will get the 15% of the 35M in the summer.

Also Nainggolan wasn't the solely reason we won that game. We also needed Handanovic and D'Ambrosio heroics in the dying minutes to get that win.

It's very easy to isolate a moment to make a conclusion on a player. Anyone can have a great moment. It's the consistency that matters and Nainggolan didn't have any in his short-lived Inter career. Few decent games in second round aren't enough to make him a good transfer.

Also Nainggolan was our most expensive signing in a summer we had a very limited budget. Lautaro was the only other purchase. All the rest were loans and free signings. He was expected to make the difference throughout the season and he failed to do so.

Yep, we literally grinded that win. It was heart stopping

Yeah, it's like we say Correa scored the winning goals against Hellas Verona last season to earn us 3 points and the second place, therefore he was a good signing!

It's super unreal that a Turkish club would pay 35 million euros for a baller. Just like other Turkish clubs, Galatasaray are in a huge debt what they can never pay.

I really wonder where they got this money ?

Smells fishy

Careful with the details. 35m is the release clause Galata are almost guaranteed to pocket in 4 months of time. Easy money.

Galatasaray will pay Roma €16.5m plus €13m in add-ons, half of which are easy to achieve and some of that are more difficult.

Read my post above ;) Galatasaray are being used as a proxy club so Inter get the least money out of the 15% transaction fee, while Roma have inserted a future resale clause set at the same 15%, which would earn them another €5.25m when the release clause will be triggered.

Basically this kind of a deal structure is a WIN-WIN-WIN for Zaniolo-Galatasaray-futureclub (Milan?).
Sky: Roma have right of first refusal on talents Yusuf Demir and Efe Akman.
Inter come out the losers out of this.

don't think anyone will spend 35M on him, as hes a locker room cancer, always injured and is not performing well. Especially not Milan or Inter who don't have money. The only way he's sold is if he plays really good until the end of the season and then some Premier league club pays that money... Anyway, for Galatasaray it's a pretty good deal... I am more intereseted in seeing who buys Dybala. His clause is pretty much nothing.

Zaniolo should be able to perform in the Turkish league where it`s easier to reach stats (just look at Icardi), especially with such team mates!

Milan can easily cash in on Leao and spend 35M of that on Zaniolo. They simply could not afford him this winter, so Zaniolo was parked over there.

Roma got rid of him, Galata pocket a very generous interest rate, Zaniolo gets to the club he wanted to. Everybody happy except Inter.

Deal is 16.5M to Roma now. We take 15% cut from that.

Then 13M bonuses. I assume we take 15% cut from that aswell.

Then some cut for Roma if Gala sells Zaniolo.

I have very hard time believing anyone would spend 35M for Zaniolo. He would need to have a heck of a 4-month period there.

These resale-% things aren't too easy, specifically for these type of cases. We should be smart with these, we should include the resale-% on everything related to the sale. Transfer fee, loan fee, bonuses. Even resale-% on the resale-% yo dawg.

Good piece of business by Roma getting rid of a talented albeit injury prone hot head. As for being "picked up" by Milan grande, Tonali and Zaniolo together:lol:, more drama on the way.
