Well, for what's Tonali strong, you can't take that away from him. But that's not a special attribute by any means. Anyone can get strong as long as they put in work and also practice when to challenge in duels, whilst Barella is a superior player in overall. I don't even think there should be a debate over this.

Tonali is VERY average in overall. His passing is massively overrated and he tends to give the ball away easy as hell. There's so many things that I don't like about Tonali except of him being a clown, like example he rushes into things, commits stupid fouls very often because of his lack of intelligence and so on.

He doesn't even look like someone who might improve in these areas. I think by the time goes on, he will gain more confidence and authority but the guy doesn't seem like will ever be one of these class midfielders among his generation. To me, both Gags and Tonali are almost identical except of one is complete ass and the other one is little less shit.

For me he is the best Inter midfielder since I became an Inter fan in the late 90s. And in form Barella is better than Verratti too imo, let alone Tonali. We are so lucky he doesn't want to leave. The Zhangs would have shipped him out 2 years ago.

He is not even our best midfielder today.

That being said, Tonali is overrated as fuck. But we cant exclude him as he is 3 years younger than Barella. It’s up to him to improve, or become a Montolivo.

There's a strong competition between our midfielders regarding whom is better than the other, and each one of them have different characteristics. Brozo does it better on his own way, then same about Hakan. Maybe both of their game is kinda more matured to Barella but at the same time Barella has that elegance that gives him an edge over both.

If I'd have to pick one or two between them it would have been very difficult, and I'm glad that we have such a competitive midfield. I wish they would have some more strength because it's obvious that our midfield's issue is lack of strength and muscles (except of Hakan whom is at least physically good enough to win duels). I do get that they are not the same but a physical and dominant guy in the midfield is what we need, but of of course not a la Gagliardini.

To say that Barella is our best midfielder in our team is a bold statement.

No real bids since Barella isn't interested moving.
I hope this goes like what we ended up with Lukaku and chelsea
~€100m could be right price and will save us to sell the others
I really like him but I know we have to sacrifice someone

The last chance for Liverpool and any other EPL clubs bar Man City to sign Barella and Bastoni was like 2 years ago. That was when we were still struggling in CL and hadn't renewed these players. These days, the chance is zero as they don't offer much better wages, they don't always have bigger ambition in Europe. There's no reason for our Italians to leave for England anymore.

The only club that our Italians may see as a clear step up is Man City, they have massive sporting ambition and can pay through the roof (they usually don't though, at least on the table, who knows what happens under the table).

We managed without Brozovic for extended periods this season. Barella is more important at this point.

Brozo injury and Barella sucking for two months caused our meltdown in a league this spring. So, we didnt quite managed without Brozo. When Brozo returned our comeback in the league started.

You know what would have made more sense? Making a LEGEND out of a player who played with the fans and left the club for €0m. At the time, you claimed we shouldn't sell him because he would renew his contract. It does not make sense :ROFLMAO:
Now its going to repeat again, ok if selling Barella for ~€100m doesn't make sense, Selling Brozo for €23m does? :palm:
you tell me who should we sacrifice for how much? :einstein:
