It is amazing how shit he was today. Absolutely terrible. Still can't believe it. Completely lost all faith in him.
He always tends to overheat in some of those games. It's in his character unfortunately.

Apart from a few bad decisions on the ball, like trying to be Deki instead of passing it to the forwards in the first half, he was quite decent.

Our midfield was overrun and the players were gassed and had to run a lot without the ball so whenever they had it, it was tough to get the proper decision. Hakan suffered the most from this and even Pep made mention of how he was confused with how our midfield worked and couldn't properly deal with it.

I recall Dumfries having the ball and not processing for like 10 seconds, Barella was available and could have done something about it. There were a few occasions where all he could do was cross the ball in, but we just weren't in a position to do a lot of damage, at least until Gosens came on.

He's had way worse matches earlier this season. Not his usual display but still not as bad as most of you guys describe it. Hopefully this is a great experience for him to learn from things where he could have done better. CL final has incredible pressure on its own, and no matter if you're an underdog or whatever, it's still something very heavy that you have to carry on.

There's absolutely no reason to overreact over last night's match. Our boys did their best, maybe if we had some more luck the outcome would have been different. We were just way too nervous and lacked calmess big time.

Be proud of this team. At least we make Milan our bitch and entire world of football has realized that Inter is team of real men.

Lack of composure, big time. And we have seen the same episode over and over because he tends to get himself into the shooting opportunities but unless he works on it, he will keep wasting these opportunities.

His shooting isn't bad, but his lack of calmness is letting him down.

To be fair he had a few good runs from behind but no one were willing or could pass him the ball.

Brozo fucked up really bad on that occasion while Barella was wide open on the right. Lauti didn't help it either by jumping in front, but Brozo should have done way better by playing the ball to Barella, could have been a very dangerous situation. Besides of that poor decision, the shot was awful as well.

I thought Nico was fine yesterday, yes he could have done better with the ball on the open net, but there were more issues on the field, like Dumfries rebooting his brain 3 different times instead of playing a quick counter.

I don't get this criticism. Barella was working his ass off like the whole midfield. It was their main task to fight against City's endless cycling game. And they did hell of a job doing that, including Barella.

I wouldn't blame him too much for this game. Should have made a pass on the time he tried to shoot when Ederson was out of the net, but can't blame him too much.

I think we need a better option than Dumfries for Barella to link up with on the right hand side. I appreciate Dumfries' work effort but his technical level and decision making is so poor - I think Barella's game can only improve with a more technical player to combine with.

Dumfries, has 2 things going for him. Speed and physicality in the air. Outside of that he's...not good. How many times have people complained about Barella, throwing his arms up in the air. They don't realize that he expects Dumfries to support him or make a run. In reality, he's stagnant, doesn't move the ball forward and he's no Hakimi in pace.

Had Hakimi been on the field instead of Dumfries, we win that game easily. Hakimi is a much more intelligent player and near the end of the year he was actually pretty solid defensively, using his speed to close down players. Barella plays SOOOO much better when he knows he has a WB he can trust and can read the game.
