Yeah, they were a midtable team for six months. La Liga winners after such months? Hardly...

But you can´t say they sucked when they bounced back like that... Anyway it seems like we won´t agree on this one. :D

They sucked for six months, which in football should theoretically mean that they shouldn´t win a league.

Well assuming they sucked for 6 months, I might say bad instead, but does that mean they sucked the whole season? ;)

We must stick by Vieri. Remember how Raul was one of the most devestating strikers in the world, and he humiliated milan in a game in 2002.

Then he had one of the worst droughts ever! but look at him now, his scoring club level and at spain, everything seems to be working for him. Even if its simple goals were he just touches it on, in the past things would go wrong like the he would hit the post or miss completely.
I agree Raul was great once. But do you really think he´s great again? He hardly scored last season... :confused2:

no doubt, he was probbly the worst player for them last season, but Now with morientes, owen and Ronaldo he has become the top scorer, his slowly starting to turn his game around, it went many many games without scoring then in one game he scored two, and the trend continued with real madrid and spain (im talking past month) im not saying his playing very well.

im just saying that he turned it around and now things are going right, i believe same will happen to Vieri he just has to get one in and get confidence from it.

Raul with Morientes has always been lethal. And I hope too Vieri will score and start the avalanche. But we can´t play Vieri at any price IMO.

Well : Would you give him to Juve then?? they want him and they really need him as Moggi say but would you sell him as well as Canna to our greatest Rival in one year manoo ?? Let's have some patience guys though not on the expense of the nerazzurri shirt .

I know what you mean Mido. It hurts to see Vieri struggling like this.

But at same time it hurts to see him playing 90 minutes with Recoba sitting on the bench...

Vieri didn't help his cause with his behaviour. I know fans can be stupid and not being supportive at times, but let's face it, when Vieri stopped celebrating his goals and blowing his nose with the Inter shirt, he went looking for trouble. It looks like he found it now...

I'd hate to see him play for Juve, but if I listen to my brain instead of my heart, I'd have to say this: would I rather face Juve playing with Zlatan or Vieri? I'd have to say, Vieri wouldn't worry me half of what Zlatan would...

What is that thing with Pasquale and the armband. Guy doesn´t get a single chance when it comes to realgames. Then all of a sudden he is our natural captain in these minorgames...?

Well i think mancini could be just boosting his confidence after not playin many matches in the league,i think its not a bad idea because its just friendly games, and he also came from our youth system,so i think he is not really that far behind vieri in terms of captaincy.

I don't think the captaincy thing is THAT great a deal. Mancini probably is giving it to him to build his confidence and cause him to play better which can only be a plus. Though when it comes to the important games we all know who the captain really is.

Please Jimmy dont tell me Scholes was a support striker and Solkjaer sometimes played there too.
Formation = 4-5-1
Lone striker = Ruud
