The only thing I hate about NFL is all those breaks in between...

Yeah they are annoying for people who are used to constant action. Although sometimes football can be really boring for 45 minutes. In american football at least something happens when there's no breaks.

It's not going in Carolina's way. Denver is more likely to win this. Not over though!

I want Carolina to win but it's just not happening for them.

What a disappointing end from Carolina.

Yeah they made some dumb mistakes. Denver's defense was on point!

It's really simple: imagine in football to stop time inbetween the whistles. So if there's a foul you stop the time and the time continues when the ref whistles again.

This reminds me of this video with James Corden. Listen to what he says from 2.12 and forward.

Hopefully does Peyton Manning retire this time as he has been a bit embarrassing to watch this season and I can't see why he should still be motivated to keep on. Hell the guy has lost the feeling on his finger tips due to his neck surgery. Just don't do like Brett Favre who IMO ruined his reputation completely by continuing in the league for way too long time.

Damn Panthers LB Thomas Davis did play the whole match through with his arm looking like this after he injured it in the conference finals.

His arm looks like a football. Very fitting.

In American culture the commercials are a big deal. Companies pay millions of dollars for commercials, and the funniest ones are talked about for days afterwards. Some people, the casual fan, watch the SB solely for the commercials. Example:

With that being said, adjusting from European football where there are no commercials to American football is a dramatic switch.

Anyway, Denver deserved to win with one of the best defenses I have seen in my lifetime. Denver has invested a lot of resources into their defense, draft picks, free agents, etc. which have turned it into a dominant unit. Nice to see Peyton ride off into the sunset.

As a huge Cam Newton fan I hope he makes it back.
