If we fucking sell our stadium name to Coca Cola or any other commercial fucks, I'll hunt down whoever is responsible to the end of the fucking Earth. :frustrat:

Hey, the more money, the better.

We will all have to get into illegal businesses soon. :p

Inter is spending so much money on buying useless players and paying them huge salaries that instead we can invest some money for a new stadium.

It is also annoying when we have to play our Champions League games a week after the schedule, because Milan plays a day before.

Club like Inter deserves its own stadium and shouldn't rent it from Milan municipality.

Moratti and co have at the workshop in the last few days confirmed we will have a new stadium. They said at the earliest 2013 but not latter than 2016.

They also say the cost isn't important since you make it back very quickly.

But some people ain't going to like this. It will be named after one of our sponsors. So expect either Nike or Pirelli Stadium.:D

I will miss San Siro but this makes commercial and footballing sense. The pitch at San Siro is poor and the milan city council seems unable to fix it.

milan city council doesn't really care about maintaining the stadium, coz it's the only one in Milan and both Inter and milan have no choise than rent it. So the new stadium for us will be very good and is it really important if it's called Pirelli Stadium or Nike Arena?

Emirates Stadium, Allianz Arena are both really good stadiums for example.

its good to a modern stadium being built:
1. no rent :)
2. no milan
3. all those corporate boxes will earn inter a ton of money

however, i can see sponsors bidding for the brand spanking new italian stadium icon

Stadium should give income, not cause expenses. As far as i know we spent around 20-25 million euros annually to play at San-Siro. It's really sick! We can build stadium for 150-200 millions and then get all that money back in 4-5 years, especially if we can arrange CL or Uefa Cup final there!

Yes, San-Siro is historical place, even idolic and holy, but, i'm getting sick about sharing anything with AC Merda!

Pirelli stadium doesnt sound that bad.

It sounds good, but don't think we'll have it coz Pirelli Stadium already exists in England and Burton Albion plays there.

So it leaves us with another option Nike Stadium, Nikefootball Arena or something like that. I would prefer Nikefootball Arena.

We have more than two sponsors. a Lot of companies would like the Inter stadium to be named after them. Don't be surprised if its a chinese company. We are focusing on China after all.

Here's all our official sponsors:http://www.inter.it/aas/sponsor/home?L=en

Too bad, Leerdammer isn't one of our sponsors anymore. Imagine a stadium called that.

"Signore e Signori, benvenuti allo Stadio Leerdammer per la finale da Scudetto Inter - Milan. "

lol.

No but seriously, Nike stadium might be good, or TIM stadium or even Sky Stadium. Oooh "Sky Stadium". Sounds nice to me.

But I'd like Stadio A. Moratti or G. Facchetti.

The only way it will be named after A. Moratti or G. Fachetti is if Massimmo Moratti sponsors 70-80% of the new stadium.

Meanwhile Volvo Arena sounds cool :yeay:

Then Inter will have to spend another 50m to refurbish it. It's better to build a new stadium for 200m :)

P.S. You wouldn't sell your national attraction, don't where are you from.

It will cost less to build a new stadium. You can include lots of corporate boxes in a new stadium which the sponsors pay top bucks to buy. So you make back your money very quickly. With this method Juve have already recouped 75% of the cost of their new stadium and they haven't even played a game there.

The estimation is that the club will only have to spend about 170 million of its own capital which of course this being a property can be financed over 20 years.

Building our own stadium makes much more financial sense. We can also include other facilities with the stadium which will also bring in revenue.

This is the right move for footballing and financial reasons.

I love San Siro it has given me the best days of my life but for the good of Inter we need to move.

Do you have, anything, worth 200 Mil ? :p

...

I'm fine with a new place, and I know it's crazy to have a 85 000 seater or so, that is fulled for 2, 3 games a season, but 65 000 is an amount that doesn't give an idea, of a club that has so big fanbase, and so much of a history in it. I know it's dumb, and I know I'm wrong here :p, but when you say, we have a stadium for 85 000 people, that is like what 3'rd in Europe (?), it does have a nice ring to it, doesn't it ?

I would be happy with anything over 70 000, I think. Who knows, maybe the Special One will draw some fans, that live in Milano, and never have seen a game from the stands. Who knows :p
