He isn't some big pro gay rights activist no, but that isn't relevant as the comments were clearly hurtful to him. Mancini is an emotional guy and I can tell from the way he spoke and left the interview that he was upset. This is no 'spin' from him, he isn't like that tbh.

Might be worth briefly stating that during his time at City I once read a couple of things online about one of his sons being gay, Andrea and Fillipo. Mancini is no Mourinho. He is a passionate, temperamental guy who carries his emotion up his sleeve. He loses his shit a lot, we know that very well don't we, and I think he seemed genuinely pissed today.

I couldn't disagree more with Uni on this one. I am glad Mancini reacted like this, and made a point of taking this to the press. Such shit must stop.
