Toldo has cost us matches but he won us matches as well. The hard thing about a goalie is that you only remember his bad games since they are costly. Toldo hasn't been disappointing but is having his worse season at inter.
So essentially, what you are telling us is that despite Toldo's occassional poor form, thus leading to his worse season at Inter, you still aren't disappointed? Does that mean that just before the start of the season, you actually expected him to have his worst year at Inter? :?:

Ciao,
Tim

For some reason i am not dissappointed with him. Him, JZ and Cordoba have been so good in the past that even if they don't perform well i am still satisfied with them. Maybe because of their character their occassional off-form is overlooked. In fact the three of them have been arguably having their worse season at inter but still their good outweigh their bad. There were few games that we won/tied thanx to toldo. However, players like Brechet/Helveg etc. haven't won us matches or aren't character guys so when they don't play well fans are dissppointed.

Canna some how attackers get the best out of him when he plays. He keeps on going about the tibia problem but now I don't care he is my disapointment.

Probably Kily.
I haven't actually remembered a good performance from him thus far (please do jog my memory!).
I don't remember all of our matches this season but Kily was superb against Arsenal (Highbury) and Dinamo Kyiv (San Siro) in the first 2 CL gamed this season. ;)

Anyway, I'd have say Ivan Cordoba and Fabio Cannavaro. I thought the 2 are the best stopper in the whole world but it seems that every team are making fun of our defence this season. I 'm having nightmares of what Cassano and Totti might do to us tonight. :scared:

I thought Cannavaro played very well against Roma today but ur right he isnt consistent with his great performances that we used to see from him elsewhere...Helveg today was massively bad he proved he is even less than a utility player.I would say also Matrix disaapointed me because we cant use him now at the point that we really need him becuase of a childish act...I wish we had him we wouldnt be in such a mess against Chievo next week

Most disappointing players for me are Toldo and Vieri.
I dont wanna make a big issue out of this and i kinda agree that even i expect even more from Vieri than he has shown this season. But, 17 matches in Serie A and 12 goals with below average midfield isn´t that bad from him.

Tommi, that's disappointing since he used to have an average of 1 goal per game. So that means he should be scoring 16-18 goals this season too. :p

Jokes aside, I kinda think that pointing the finger on who's been the weakest link is a bad idea. It's clear that all of our team, no one excluded, has performed worse than last season and below expectation.

Haha. And the ridiculous Telescope Magazine from Starhub Cable TV mentions Cannavaro as being one of the best defenders around. With his horrible form, he will be the living joke of Euro 2004!

Ciao,
Tim

Awww, come on Tim. ;) We know how shallow is the football knowledge of most Singaporeans here. I mean, these are the guys who believe that Vieri was put on the transfer list when all Moratti said was, "Nobody in Inter is irreplaceable."

And of course, their football God is David 'Golden Balls' Beckham. I think most of Singaporeans now are I-supported-Real-Madrid-because-Beckham-joined-them. Oh how I hate these people!!!

To his defence Cannavaro was actually good in the Roma game at least better than everyone else in that defence...Maybe his form is coming back maybe not but we need continuos good performances out of him..But it doesnt help that its always our defence thats dealing with stress and pressure all the time

Gamarra? With Farinos he's most underrated player in this squad. He was a back-up, but when he played he really did his job.. Remember for example Perugia match.. Who knows, we maybe could have dropped from CL without his save from the goal line. This guy is great and he deserves nore playing time.. Same things about Okan. When he played, he atleast tried. But is his future at inter, I din't know. But he deserves to play.. Almeyda has already gone. Cruz's future at inter has been confirmed and that's good. When he got regular time (before Adriano came) he was great. We are giving up on Bobo..

Forwards will be (I hope):

Adriano
Recoba
Martins
Cruz
Kallon?

Brechet-case is about if we play 4-man defence. If we do. let's keep him, if we don't' there's no sense keeping him..

LOL eh Almedya must stay? i think he is one of the worst Dm flops Inter has bought in recent years. LOL @ ALmedya's 10 yard shot against marseille 2nd leg at San siro that went up to the 2nd tier what a joke.

Crespo, Figo, I
I don't really like this thread, and I agree that pointing to our weakest link is not too good..

many players sucked this season, but this team seems to be our frame fir the future..
