Because 6th is acceptable?

That doesn't mean that we should simply settle for it...i take it this is the first time Inter has ever finished outside of the top 4 so therefore we will never ever win another trophy ever again blivious:
Lets get something clear...Massimo Moratti is Inter's #1 fan.
The man puts his money where his mouth is, Inter is not just some investment tool for him or a play thing to keep himself occupied for the next 5-6 years. He may have made mistakes in managing the club but hey which club has not gone through a trough??? I hate that people love the good times and can't deal with the bad. Everytime Abramovich shows a lack of interest in Chelsea, I can only imagine the flutter that goes through their fans' hearts and I am so so happy that I never have to worry about my club's owner leaving my beloved club high and dry. Like I said - MM is a fan first and an owner.
We only had 4 more wins than Atalanta! We only had 2 points more than Parma! Roma was terrible this year, and we are all of 2 points ahead of them! That means if one game we had drawn instead of won, we would be 8th! How people can say this is one bad season I don't know. Even when we won the treble we could have PLAYED better that year, winning late in games, scraping victories, it was fantastic to watch, but it was by no means dominant. The next year we were terrible, but Milan and Juventus weren't that strong so we looked alright.
Now this year all teams have strengthened, their youngsters of two years ago are starting to become stars. Whose development have we watched these last two years? Obi? Meh, he has become useful off the bench, but not shown any stand out ability beyond pace (which he doesn't combine with passing or crossing well at all). Santon? Sold. Balotelli? Sold. Ranocchia needs the right partner, or needs to play alongside defensive fullbacks, that much is abundantly clear.
The changes in coaches has not only hampered the development of what promising youth we may possibly have, such as Coutinho, it has also blinded people to the underlying problems of terrible management of finances, terrible transfer dealings, and a rapidly aging squad.
Shit needs to change fast. And its not because of 1 'bad' season!
I would never imagen that Abramovich to be in the training session and watch his player, like MM does.
So u prefer an owner who shows up to an Inter game once every couple of months ? I don't necessarily think MM interferes with how the squad trains..if that is what you are hinting at?
Or you can look at it the other way. If we won 2 out of the 3 ridiculous losses to Novara and Lecce, we would have finished in 3rd.
