I like JoJo and I'm sure Mancini also likes him, but right now the right decision feels to be Salah. I mean we wanted him in January too, but Chelsea went all in for Cuadrado and had to "gift" them Salah. But if the "right to veto" clause is true, they are indeed clever - both the club and the player. The player showcased his skills and slayed Serie A for fun, while he can still move to a bigger club. He really looks like a paced, smart and skilled player! I think he would also like to join us, as he probably enjoys Italy more than England. I remember we were linked to him in January, too, but the Shaqiri deal was a priority.

I would pick Salah because he is 2 years younger than Jovetic, already Serie A proven + not injury prone.


LOAN with OPTION to buy would be a LUXURY move, I wonder if Mou can pull such a deal for us...

It's a clever tool to postpone and hopefully avoid further FFP sanctions and we seem to be doing it right - investing in good, young and relatively confirmed players.

Let's wait and hope for Salah, remember how INTER usually signs the player that scores against us?

That's true but he's a young player in a new league.

Dybala ended the season even worse than Salah, not to mention he already had Serie A experience previously, not sure if it's that big of a deal. Lots of players go through patches in form, what's important is that we have enough players that can step up when someone is off form.

Kovacic and Icardi, as much as everyone boosts them, also had a run of matches in which they played badly. From what I recall, after the hat-trick against Sassuolo, Icardi went through about 8 matches only scoring 2 penalties.
