In the worst scenario, Inter will have to pay a simbolic financial penalty + Moratti will be banned for 15 to 20 days, or a month. This is not my opinion, it's opinion from people who are experts for sporting law in Italy ...
If they revoke the scudetto, than they will revoke CL title, and then Italy will have 3 places for CL from next year, it's so stupid and pathetic to believe in this stuff, no no, sry, it's not stupid, it's sad, so so sad.
Syn,
if you consider Italy's sporting mentality, where people prefer to "Gufare" their own club (for example Lazio - Inter), or even cheer against their own country because of the presence of too many Juve players (2006) etc etc, do you really think that the non Inter fans would even care to have one spot less in the champions league, if something happens to Inter?
I already said more than once that Inter fans shouldn't worry, but not so much because Moratti didn't do anything wrong, but because it the Italian sports Justice is a circus, in all senses.
Why? Because if Moratti and Inter's direct responsibility is confirmed in the forthcoming hearing, the minimum sanction is points deduction, and not a fine or suspension of the people involved.
So, what will happen? The accusation will change from direct to objective responsibility and the problem is solved by paying a fine and suspending someone for one or more months.
With this I am not acknowledging that those experts say (btw, one of them once said that Juve was not supposed to be relegated!), because the rules (which I repeat got sharpened) are there, and the sanctions too.
Finally, this means that comparing this situation with all the previous ones is senseless, because - once again - the rules have changed.
Finally: so Preziosi did indeed sign a contract when Motta joined Genoa (and apparently not when he left??), but still he was not allowed to do so at the time..........
