What can I say, best weekend of my life by far.
Got into Milano around 11am on the Saturday, pretty much headed straight to Duomo, which was already filling up.. Then took a trip to the stadium to see what was in the store and waste some time..
Ended up getting to Duomo properly around 3:30, was pretty busy by that point... Grabbed some beers and food and pushed into a pretty decent spot..
Amazing atmosphere, singing, flares etc all the way through the day.. And around 100.000 people in the square by the time the game kicked off, no space to move at all.
After the game finished it was still impossible to move til around 1am, when everyone started getting messages that the San Siro would be open from 2am.
Then the walk began We didn't realise quite how far it was, and hadn't slept for around 30 hours by this point.. Still somehow managed to walk the 7 ish miles to get there. Streets were full of people/cars playing Pazza Inter.
Got to the stadio for around 2:30 and crowded in.. Flares were going off everywhere, even in Orange and Red sections which was crazy to see.
Then we waited til 6am for the players to arrive, more crazy atmosphere as they took the trophy around the stadium.
Ended up arriving back at the hotel around 8am
Anyway...... adding photo's to an album on facebook right now, will put some videos up later too.
