Must be vigilant for Suso and Cutrone. Biglia is out so most probably Gatuso will field Montolivo, Kessi and Bonaventura with the latter in awful form. Our mid should outplay their with ease. Candreva and Cancelo also should have not hard time with Rodrigez and Chahanogly. I'm kind afraid of DD against SUso. Hope Brozo to keep his head for this game.

I wonder if Gagliardini and Brozovic are strong enough defensively in the middle.

But I guess we don't really have a better option than those two now.

Would be very silly of Spalletti to do so. Perisic should just receive instructions to help out Dambro with Suso when he can, rather than move one of our most in-form players to an unfamiliar position again. We've found a winning formula, let's stick to it. They should be the ones adapting to us.

D'Ambrosio is better defensively than Cancelo so he should keep his spot as a left-back.

GdS - But the whole Inter, beautiful and overflowing, seems counterweight. He came out of the Mourinhon pit of suffering (scoring, defending, fighting). Today he plays and has fun as if Spalletti was called Pep.
Surprisingly the happy joy with which Inter yesterday sought the fourth goal in Verona. He did not stop, as he did not stop with the Samp. Inter cut short on Rome, and if he wins Wednesday's derby, he passes by, landing at a third place glittering.

finally we see the true form of #senzatregua #Spallettism in a better light, beautiful football without stopping the desire to score another always...next season with more adequate reinforcements(hopefuckingfully)we can even crank it up a notch...maybe fight with Napoli and Rube...for the Scudo....maybe

LET'S BE FUCKING ARROGANT FOR A CHANGE AND FUCKING WIN THIS SHIT!

I hope my sense of things isn't deluding me...and that I can realistically see the things on the pitch changing course...with a more sexy Spallo based football...where Icardi thrives...with the help of a midfield that does things...fast,precise,and helps the two wingers do more things...with more space to do it...

We are really lucky this fixture got pushed further. Now we are in a much better form than at the time of round 27. And I think Milan is a bit worse than they were at that time.

Looking @ fixtures pic, we really have the most difficult games left.

Milan has still every chance to make it, but they need to win on Wednesday first. Their games are fairly winnable.

Yeah. We definitely need to win the derby. Also Roman derby is preferably Roma victory or at minimum a draw.

by the time we play Juventus, we could be breathing more easy and firm in 3rd spot. seeing the fixtures we have, that will happen

We'll crush them.

Milan looked rather sharp and full of grinta vs Rube. Somehow I get the feeling our players think the CL spot is in our pocket now and the season's objective is already achieved - a similar atmosphere like when we're high up in the table before christmas. Milan on the other hand still have a shot at the 4th spot and they'll play like their lives depends on it.

I actually think we'll get crushed

Nevertheless, I'm totally hyped for this game. Since like years...

I don't know about both of your points. I think the reason for our meltdown in December was that we consolidated our top spot, and people started talking about the Scudetto, and that was clearly too much pressure from the fans and the media on our players for the objective to go from 'qualify to the CL' to 'win the Scudetto'.

Also, Milan are in a position that if they win their game in hand, they'll still be 5 points and 2 league positions away from the 4th-place team that they have just beaten with 'only' 8 games left. If they lose, they'll be 7 points away from 5th, and 3 above 7th. So while they might still have a shot at 4th spot, they're already under immense pressure. I don't doubt that they have people who can cope with this pressure (Bonucci, Gattuso), but it might just be too much for them, especially if we continue our recent run of form.

Milan's position right now feels like its pretty similar to ours when with Pioli. Another loss and the ship will sink.

Like I said, it's just a feeling that I get from seeing the atmosphere of the group (social media and all) after these 2 wins. I could be wrong and the players might be quite aware that even if we just lose 2 games we'd be sitting at 5th.

You make an interesting point in the second paragraph. I'd actually argue the opposite: Their chances of coming 4th after sacking Montella were miniscule. Now that they've shown some promise/stability and actually got a decent streak of wins, I don't think they feel the pressure of falling in the standings. I'd say they have kind of a "we've nothing to lose" mentality going on.
That combined with improving the chance of reaching the 4th spot through beating their rivals should give them a psychological advantage.

I think a very key point will be Biglia's absence. From a pretty dismal start to the season, Biglia has in the past couple of months looked like the player he was at Lazio, picking out passes from the back with great precision and spreading the play around. Montolivo is shit compared to him, and this means Milan's creativity has to come from the wings, which is a bit scary cos Suso always performs against us.

I think we can win this game IF: 1. We mark Suso and Cutrone out of the game 2. Play higher up and don't let the physicality of Kessie be a factor 3. Candreva and Perisic keep on supplying Icardi similar to the last 4 games.
