How about this:

Your list in entirely wrong and you should re-watch the game when you're not tripping on acid?

So Kuzmanovic brought many attacks with his super passes to Rano, Guarin, Naga and Juan?
Obi's passes were superb on point against probably the weakest Bbilan midfield in ages?
Icardi's performance was topnotch, resulting in 2 goals?
Palacio's work rate brought many opportunities for Guarin/Naga/Icardi to score? Also he held many balls close to him and didn't lose any of them
Kovacic was so creative with his through balls that Palacio/Icardi scored?

No. I suggest you take your 'acid- tripping' glasses off.

I'm not happy we could've won this game. But at least we saw improvement.

Not sure about them, but for me Juan was nowhere near MOTM.

I saw he fought for every ball, he was one of the better. I should've put no one as MOTM. But chose for Handa and Juan, because those did good/decent

I think you're being harsh on Palacio, Kevin. He worked hard in defence, and in attack he was forced into corners by Icardi's lack of movement. Help didn't really come from the midfield either.

Perhaps I am, but from Palacio you all should expect more. He worked hard in defense correct, but he lost so many balls :palm:

Mancini certainly has a lot of points to work on

Our attack looked like this tbh...

-----------Icardi
Kova---------------Palacio

Kova didn't play as an AM because we played 4-3-2-1/4-3-3 not 4-1-2-1-2 tbh.

Kova drifted to the left and Palacio to the right like they always do...leaving Icardi alone in the box.

Kova might have started as an AM but that was more of a paper formation than anythign else.

But yeah Kova is better when he comes forward from deep. Not sure it would make a difference because he looked lost in general today.

kova was only on the left when defending, he drifted in centrally when attacking.

if he is to copy david silva 1)this should be done gradually not directly 2) he should only drift when he has the ball, not just randomly without it.

this wasnt inverted lm, this was pure am when the team was in possession.

I already said that, JJM:fuckyea:

I felt Kova's attacking position was determined more by being close to Rami than by any actual position on the pitch. Which is weird because Rami shouldn't exactly be a threat.

kova was only on the left when defending, he drifted in centrally when attacking.

I disagree. I felt like was still out wide quite often even when we were in possession.

The first mistake was both Ranocchia and Jesus coming out of their position, leaving the fullbacks to play the role of the center backs:

Second mistake was Nagatomo not positioning himself inside the box to mark Menez. He was neither marking the crosser nor a person inside the box aka nowhere. Jesus even motions him to the center of the box while he's trying to mark the El Shaarawy :

The most repeatedly action from us was...Kuz to Obi,Obi to Kova and Kova to Dodo who crossed it to Digeo Lopez as a gift.
Then long ball from Frog to Diego Lopez.

WM's Inter is not dead yet...and it wasn't expected that it would be tbh...you can't forget a attack move which you were doing for 17 months in a week.

I disagree with some of you here, I saw a lot of improvement from Inter tonight:

1. Intensity: There was so much intensity and energy about Inter today - we were fighting for every ball, and that is always good to see. I haven't seen this much intensity from Inter in the last 4 years.

2. Purpose: One touch passing, trying to convert possession quickly into an attack. The intent from Mancio was clear - more direct football. This will take time to perfect, but the players were trying (except perhaps Kova), and this is where we will see the biggest change from the Mazzarri era.

3. Organisation: In 5 days of training, our defense looked far more organised with 2 CBs than it EVER did with 3. Whoever thought Juan + Ranocchia could form a decent partnership?! Yes, there were mistakes, but those were mostly caused when Ranocchia tried to cover for Nagatomo, etc. This was even more impressive given the fact that we were playing without any natural DM cover. When Medel and M'Vila are fit, our defense could improve further.

Combine the above 3 points with the fact that we have moved to a more dynamic 4 man defense, and also did not try to bore the hell out of everyone, Mancio had a bright start and has done more than I expected out of him in a week.

Another point here - FIF seriously underestimates this Milan. Inzaghi has been doing some really good work there and the movement of their strikers (Honda, Menez and SES) has been quite menacing this season. IMO Milan have one of the best attacks in the league, so our midfield's intensity and the organisation of our defense deserves some credit.

I can't wait to see this Inter grow, specially when we have Medel back and Osvaldo, Hernanes & M'Vila fit to start. For the first time, I am starting to believe that we can actually challenge Napoli & Milan for that 3rd spot this season. The games against Milan and Roma (next week) are not the key ones - its the games against the smaller clubs which will tell whether Mancio's work is paying off. Can't wait to find out.

Grazie Mancio for making me believe in Inter again.

Agreed. He wasnt in his best position today, he was heavily marked by Muntari and Essien but still, he looked lost snd unmotivated, improver on the second half.

We were something like 4-4-1-1 when defending on the first half at least.

felt the whole thing started and ended with a miscommunication. hopefully it gets better with time, cant expect chemistry in a new formation on the first game.
