Milan Duomo

Don't know if this is the good section, but I was wondering when the restoration of the Duomo in Milan will finally be concluded?

I'm talking about this, it's really ugly and since I'm going to Milan again the next derby I wanted to know when I can finaly see the Duomo uncovered

Same here, I'm going to Milan in October and I'm so fed up to see that beauty all covered up, it's been like that for the last 3 years and I'll be majorly pissed off if I find it like that again!

Took 400+ years to conclude, during Medieval years.
The center of Milano. Piazza della Duomo, of course, the Square round the church, Galleria Vittorio Emmanuelle, great architecture and also, the avenue of Vittorio Emmanuelle, the shopping road.

Well i can't believe they are still restoring it ! When i went to Milano in February 2005 they were restoring it !
