I don't care about social media nor the general public's opinion about matters unless they're about to vote on stuff.

I wouldn't go as far as calling him a mercenary but I'd say he's excessively professional with a big mouth.

He's certainly no legend.
I don't care either, but generally it is very annoying.

Of course he is not a legend but he has everything to become it.

It's easy to be wise after the event. If we had sold him in the summer there would be still people crying over selling our "future captain".

If we sell Skriniar this January we are severely risking our top 4 placement this season.
With Jube - 15 points, our chances are increasing significantly even without Skrinar. We can use DD and Darmian there, as we have Dumbfries and Bellanova on the wing. Nothing to worry about.

If that's our solution then we have to worry about europa league qualification. Roma and lazio are only 3 points behind us and juve will make that gap up by Easter.

Football is a job and everyone working expects a higher pay. You guys have to come to terms with the fact that we (or any other serie A team) can no longer compete when it comes to salary range with english teams or the likes of PSG / Real / Barcelona / Atletico / Bayern etc.
You cant expect every player to be a die hard Inter fan or Zanetti like captain.
Football from a monetary point of view is a double standards cesspool. Lets also not be hypocritical and pretend like we do not expect the next big dick spender instead of Zhang.
Skriniar is a player that always earned his pay so hats off to him wherever he ends up.

Another big fuckup by Marotta and co. Instead selling Skriniar last summer and getting Bremer now we are losing all.
Same thing would have been said had we sold hm for 50 mios and replaced him with bremer but what ever

At the beginning of next season we will have a very large reserve in wages we can pay

Romelu Lukaku € 8,500,000

Stefan de Vrij Annual € 3,800,000

Milan Skriniar Annual € 3,000,000

Denzel Dumfries Annual € 2,500,000

Roberto Gagliardini Annual € 1,500,000

Dalbert Annual € 1,200,000

It's 20.5mln net salary - For all positions except Skriniar we have ready youth, so Zhang's dream to reduce the payroll will come true, even taking into account the fact that we will have to extend Bastoni, Gossens, Asllani and possibly Hakan.
Hakan Calhanoglu Annual € 5,000,000

We really should sell Gosens tbh. He will not get through Dimarco and right now he still has got a decent value - we are broke so we have to sacrifice who we can

Ok, europa league ticket means would be trigger Zhang/suning to pull out their belongings from Milan city

So instead gettin money for Skriniar and gettin Bremer as replacement we are losing Skriniar for free and have no proper replacement. Whoever is responsible for this needs to resign. What a debacle.
Imagine how people would have reacted to a sale of Skriniar for around 55mln. Everyone was so confident that Skriniar will renew, because he was an "Interista".

Isn't Inter board itself try to sell Skriniar every single season? it's already clear the problematic things is Inter board itself not Skriniar.

Jube had a lucky winning strike, and that was proved in their game against Napoli. They can repeat it once again, but this is far from certain. Roma, Lazio and Milan are not more consistent than us, so the situation is not so dark. Skriniar is not Messi or Maradona, to be so decisive for us. I've seen that many people here praised him, for eating Leao, but just see again that Leao had enough good chances, but he wasted them.
Anyway, I've read some rumors about Dumbfries departure now, so it's not sane to lose both of them in the winter.

Yeah except that is not how it works. If we already tried to pay Skriniar 7 mil or whatever it was and PSG just farts out like 12 mil it is already done deal. Take into account salary RANGE not total funds you may or may not be able to free.
A player of Skriniar's calibre definitely warrants top dollar but it is top dollar we cannot afford. He should have been sold. This is absolutely poor management.

Everything but an Inter shirt.

Unfortunately, he might become a Legend at another club. It certainly will not be wearing our colours.

Indeed, but if the rumors that Zang blocked his sale are true, it's hardly Marotta and co's blame.

If it's 20 mln, just take it and run.
Good Lord no! Risk a CL spot, then the morons will use the monies to extend contracts to Lukaku and Gags.
