PSG owner can easily throw 35M€ in signing bonus, half the fee we want. Including the new 8M€ net wage. While we can only offer 6.5M€ net for 5 years, which is even less than he gets from a signing bonus at once.

This is logical if they actually ended up selling skriniar for what is the last PSG offer..
But i'm sure the answer of the question why not renew Skriniar last year is because they dont want to give Skriniar a salary raise that he deserve considering the importance of him in the squad, they dont want to give him the salary above Dzeko, Correa, Hakan, Sanchez that Skriniar deserve.. And i hope it backfired..

The actually funny thing is PSG think they have any advantage if Skriniar becomes free agent. They will suddenly find themselves competing with the top clubs out there and at that point, money alone will not cut it.

As reported by L’Equipe, PSG have not given up on Skriniar just yet and they’re planning on launching one final attempt for the Inter defender in the final week of the summer transfer window.

They may propose an offer in the region of €60m plus a player in exchange, but this is unlikely to convince the Nerazzurri.

It seems incredibly unlikely that the Milanese club will accept a deal for Skriniar now, especially considering that they’re already rapidly searching for a defensive reinforcement as is.

P$G coach Galtier was asked about Skriniar:

“Skriniar? I have no comments to make. In the last few days, it will change a lot. There are players with us waiting to leave and players waiting to join us. We will see how it will end.”

Fabian Ruiz has been frozen out of the Napoli squad as he refused to sign a contract extension with the Partenopei. His current deal runs out in June 2023, so he could leave as a free agent at the end of the season if Napoli don’t sell him earlier.
