I’m so incredibly happy with what happened to Man City hope it happens to Monaco and PSG as well

FFP totally fked the Italian league. We seemed like the only league that cared. Now :) magic

Too bad we wouldn’t be able to pay some of man city players wages or id say Raid their ass

Pretty certain City will appeal and the process will be in progress from that moment. I don't think City will be banned next season, maybe one after next.

There is noway City are going to dnd up being banned. Do really think UEFA will ban Guardiola snd players like Aguero and KDB from CL. This is just a show by UEFA to show that they tried.

City won’t be banned and we won’t be getting any of their players.

What's more unclear to me are things like signing on fees - as that isnt a purchase price for the asset, in some ways. I wouldnt be surprised if that is a one-off cash flow in the season it happened, e.g. if we signed that Man Utd winger for 1.5m net per season + 3m commission, his FFP impact this year might be 6m, then subsequent years 3m (ignoring the tax relief law for foreigners)
Would you believe that answer changes based on circumstances? :)

1. First, if we're talking things like agent fees/bonuses upon signing... that's part of the cost of the acquisition, so it's treated as capital, same as the transfer fee itself.
2a. If we're talking signing bonus to the player, and all or part of the bonus is recoverable by the club (e.g. "if you wanted to leave, you'd have to pay all or part of the bonus back to us to get out of your contract"), then the bonus is treated as a prepaid expense that is spread over the initial life of the contract, on a monthly basis. I say "initial" to distinguish it from how capital is recognized, because extending the contract would not spread the existing signing bonus out further. It just stops after the initial contract period regardless.
2b. If the bonus isn't recoverable or tied to performances in any way, it is expensed 100% in the month it was paid out, as in your example.

He's gonna be sent on loan. Probably his destiny will be to be a plusvalenza for Inter, nothing more. We hope he booms at Parma/Sassuolo etc. and then we sell him. Maybe as a makeweight for some player in 2021 or 2022.

Most likely coz we are running down their contracts. If there are clubs ready to pay their meagre wages, why should we pay them to leave?

Lazio set Milinkovic-Savic tag

Lazio have reportedly slapped a price-tag of €120m on Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, with PSG, Manchester United and Real Madrid all interested.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, the Serbia international won’t be allowed to leave for under €120m after an excellent campaign at the Stadio Olimpico.

The 25-year-old has contributed five goals and seven assists in 31 competitive games so far this season.

Lazio sit one point behind Juventus in the Serie A table and have already won the Italian Super Cup.

It’s reported that if Lazio were to cause a huge upset and win the Scudetto, they’d raise the price-tag even higher.

Paris Saint-Germain have never disguised their interest in Milinkovic-Savic, but Manchester United and Real Madrid are also ready to pounce.

There could even be a chain reaction, for instance with Manchester United selling Paul Pogba to Juventus or Real Madrid.

juBentus want to sell Pjanic, could trick P$G into buying him, so they can take Pogba back. However, Raiola seems to want to move him to Real Madrid given his latest statements. Anyway, we don`t seem to be in this race right now... We`re probably looking for the "next" SMS.

Marotta: 'Player prices will fall'

Inter chief Beppe Marotta believes player prices will fall and “there could be more swap deals” because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Market prices had spiked after Neymar’s €222m transfer to Paris Saint-Germain from Barcelona in 2017 but, with the season ground to a halt as the world fights off COVID-19, clubs are suffering losses of earnings.

“Beyond the dates that are still to be determined, I think it will inevitably be a poorer market so there could be more swap deals,” Marotta told Tuttosport.

“We’ll see a general drop in prices because the problem is global. It’ll be important to be able to exploit the resources of our academies.”

Vidal+Semedo, or straight swap with Griezmann for Lautaro? Arthur+Cash? Infinite possibilities.

Just please include Vecino in of these deals. Ideally to Chelsea for Jorginho.

First good idea I've read. To buy Lautaro they have to buy Vecino too

No to Vidal. His ship has sailed. His value shouldn't be considered relevant in any possible swap transfers.

We need to maximize the plusvalenza (that will happen anyway if Lautaro is sold) but also use that wisely. Buying Vidal isn't that. Arthur and Semedo might be that? Anyone have any idea if Arthur can succeed in Italy?

Fabrizio Romano gave some updates about Inter's mercato. He confirmed Inter are interested in Corentin Tolisso and they're considering a move for him. Young will certainly stay for one more season. Moses has his chances but Inter won't spend more than 10m for him. Inter are also considering other options for wingback positions like Marcos Alonso and Federico Chiesa.

Anything over 5m for Moses is insulting tbh

I wouldn't even take him for free. The guy is a defensive liability even as a wingback. We have no use of him after this season. Candreva is good enough as a backup. We just need a starting right wingback.
