Fucking hope so.

But we still need depth for cover, e.g Milenkovic, Udogie, Dimarco, Bellanova, Darmian and D'ambrosio

Also would like another CB just for insurance (Viti)

Remember how Marotta said that we want to have everything done by the start of July. Lol
Still havent sold Pinamonti and get rid of garbage like Dalbert and Lazaro. Dont know what to do with Skriniar. Cant get rid of Sanchez. Still dont have the Rano replacement. Cant close the deal that is taking 6 months for Bremer. Didnt sign Dybala just cause Lukaku appeared like a wild Pokemon... every year same shit.

What one wants and what actually is possible doesn't always correlate. We signed 5 players by 1 July. We are much further ahead then usual.

Most of the job is done. Attacking department is set, and if there is the chance, we'll go for Dybala. Midfield is ready - 6 players, and in this state, we need only a Rano's replacement for the defense. Bremer is difficult to be completed with zero cash. Marotta's job there is not for nothing, as the player is still waiting for Inter, although Cairo's attempts to ship him off for more money. If, we finally have some players sold, Marotta will get him. If not, we'll wait till January and will hope Bremer to keep his word and sign with Inter. The management can't do much more with the limited resources, they have to operate with.

A member from this forum would have been able to sign those 5 players. Onana has been a done deal for a year now. Lukaku has been crying to return since January. Mkhitaryan just chose a little bit more money. Bellanova is an interista and wanted to come, while Cagliari also needs money. And Asllani also has a chance to play for a big club, so of course he want to come. None of these deals were difficult to pull off. There was no Marotta master class here.

I agree that the midfield is set. The attack we dont know, cause they are still trying to get rid of Sanchez and are probably shopping Dzeko and Correa. The defense part can change real quick. With the sale of Skriniar, we have to get Bremer and another defender. Also people are forgeting that Bremer is good as a central defender, not on the outside, while also not being a good passer. So yea, time will be needed if we wanna put him in that spot.... its also mamagements job to sell players, which this management sucks at. One good sale of Lukaku, does not make the other sales good. And if you can only buy with the money that is earned by sales, no wonder we cant get anyone. So get moving and sell Pinamonti already.

I agree, but my point is that the team has already been set and competitive, without to make any changes to it. If something happens, i hope the management to be prepared in advance to react.
Selling is not an easy task, when it's about the trash or unwanted players. Let take some examples here - Alexis Sanchez. There are clubs interested in him, but he is reluctant to move, as he wants his full salary paid. SDV - there is a rumor that Newcastle approached the player, but he rejected them. Dzeko also said NO to rubentus literally yesterday. i think, Correa was linked with some clubs, but i'm sure that even in case of some serious approach, he'll reject them.
In a team like Inter, it's not so easy to clear the garbage, because there are some obstacles which make the task difficult, like big salaries and an unwillingness to move to a weaker/ non-prestigious club.

a memebers on this forum would do shit, nothing is done till its signed and even then may be turned around (couple of them even arrived and took pictures with scarf), everybody thinks the job of the other one is easy and his is hard, it's not FM, and not every rumor is true

Every rumor about these players, other than Asllani was true. Lukaku was talking to Inter since January, confirmed by himself. Onana had a medical in January. Mkitaryan did get a bigger wage and Bellanova is an Interista and it was his dream to come here. All of these guys wanted to be here, Lukaku especially pushed for this deal to happen. So yea, all you had to do was get the money. No director in the world would have fucked up any of these deals.
And if you guys are happy with the management, thats fine. I think they are doing an averega job, while being bad on sales. At least we aint spending 40M on dog shit players that leave for free anymore.

Don't have one.
I think management did more than decent job so far. It's easy to say all five of our signings were easy to get after we got them, but nothing is easy, especially when you have our owners. We got five players for very little money, players that could be useful and add some depth, coz let's be honest our first team is complete in a lot of areas, we needed depth from the bench and that's what we bought so far bar lukaku.

Now let's see what they do when we get real money to spend... Unfortunately we'll probably have to sell someone first coz again fuck suning.

@IM21 , you make it to looks like the most easiest thing in the world. But, in reality it's not so simple. First of all, there are many players scouted, but the decision to take exactly those players is the most important, and we'll see in future is it good or not. For instance, we could have gotten Cambiaso, not Bellanova. Maggiore or some other cheaper option, instead to splash 14 mln on Asllani. For free agent, we could have taken Matic or Bonaventura, not Mkhitaryian. Or if the management wanted to hurry, they could have completed the deal for Dybala earlier (giving him some guarantees and promises), closing the door for Lukaku this way.
So, the signing of those players maybe it's not the hardest thing in the world, but the decision to go after those particular players is the tricky part.

yup, it's easy to say bad on sales, you got to have buyers first, it's not like they are not ofering, but nobody wants them, at least not for now, and the market is yet to begin, a lot has happened but a lot will, everybody is playing games like we do, nobody has team ready for next season by now, it's just pure fantasy, even if somebody have a starting line up they probably have a lot to offload

At least the young players are in. I would hate to bring in a Asllani or Bellanova late in the window and give them no preseason. That is almost begging for a flop.

At least Bremer and Dybala are experienced players, so if they do come in they can adjust a little better on the fly.

I don't care if those 5 players were easy to get, at least nobody can say our club wasn't thinking ahead. I'm pretty sure Bremer and Dybala were/are also in our plans and most things are going according to plan. We just need that Pinamonti transfer to happen and then we unlock further options

Management has not done great or poorly this summer. Well see how things go but as of right now I'd give them a solid B. Milan has been an F so it could be worse.

I really can't find anything to complain about this mercato. Maybe Skriniar sale but that's kinda inevitable, and we still haven't sold him yet.

Bremer was never going to get done fast, Cairo and his renewal are all the indications you need to see. No matter how much you offer, Cairo will simply drag it out and ask for a bit more. I like our player centric approach actually, and the rumors indicates that it's working (until we get sued for tapping up lol).

I'd prefer Dybala too but Lukaku is not a bad choice. And Dybala is not off the table either.
