Yep... I think it would be vice to not get anybody but maybe Esposito (cheap) and just focus to offload Eriksen, Perisic and Pinamonti. Then see how we finnish the season? Darmian should be first option to LWB and Dambro and Young for backups.

Covid messed up last summer sales and we were one goal short from last 16 at CL and now out of europe games, so some cuts has to happen!

No one knows how long we will play for empty stands and will our sponsors survive? I also wonder why there is no talk about players salary cuts?

Zhang to his credit said that everyone will get everything, from the top employee to the janitors. As it should be.

I think the players discussed a 10-20% cut for one of the months they didn't play but not sure if anything happened.

Sanchez was a 30 million euro player we got for free.... his wages are part of his transfer fee

Yes over priced but he makes us competitive

Eriksen was a big gamble that paid off. Lukaku I was against but guy is a fking demon. I would have preferred Zapata since he was 1/2 or 1/3rd the price and 1/5th the wages. But Lukaku has shut up any of his doubters

While some of our transfers seemed dumb remember people don’t need to sell you shit. Like if someone is selling their home and it’s been on the market for a year. They want 300k you offer 200k. They dont accept till you offer 300k are they the asshole or are you?

Well, we have the tendency of agreeing on 250k for a 300k asking price and end up paying 350k

Just avoid Chileans and Serbs over 30, probably something in mentality but even if they are free still not worth it.

Vidic, Kolarov, Sanchez, Vidal ...

I'd say avoid all thirty year olds altogether unless they are Ibra type of players.

We were lucky with Miranda and Godin, there is nothing wrong with Darmian (solid squad player). How old was Palacio when joined? He was good.

Conte said in the pre-match conference that there won't be any transfers, in or out. Considering the names we were being linked with, I see this as great news.

If this is any true and he starts playing eriksen then marotta might be the one ordering him not to play eriksen. It seems more in line with skriniar's treatment.

Supreme Leader Conte: "The market is closed, there won't be any outgoing or ingoing transfers for the moment."

Marotta: Literally hibernates

If Darmian is out for any duration of time we need another wingback. I don't care who we get. Find someone on loan and bring them in.

We lost 5 points in January already waiting for reinforcements....

This seems like a yearly thing. At least we won 1 game this time in January!!

Inter have no less than 12 players with contracts expiring in the next 18 months, an Italian media report has highlighted today.

As highlighted by Transfermarkt, Danilo D’Ambrosio, Aleksandar Kolarov, Andrea Ranocchia, Ashley Young and Daniele Padelli all have deals that will expire at the end of the 2020-21 season.

The contracts of Radja Nainggolan, Marcelo Brozovic, Joao Mario, Matias Vecino, Ivan Perisic, Arturo Vidal and Samir Handanovic, meanwhile, are all meanwhile due to run out at the end of the following campaign

JM, Vecino, 9n and Perishit contracts expire next campain?! We have zero chance to sell them this summer. I don't see how someone will offer even 10mln for each of them.

Perisic still has a good name in the market so there's a chance you could get around 8-10m for him. JM will certainly go out on another loan till his contract expires. This will probably be the case for Nainggolan unless we use him as a part of a deal for another player (e.g. Cragno). It will be hard to get any decent offer for Vecino after being out for so long.

As for the rest, Young and Kolarov will probably leave. It's rumoured there's an agreement for D'Ambrosio and Handanovic extensions for a while (same with De Vrij and Bastoni). They're trying to find an agreement with Brozovic over an extension but it was rumoured there's distance between the parties. No rumours about Ranocchia and Padelli. Personally i would extend Ranocchia contract for one more season. He has proved himself as a reliable backup who never complains about playing time ever since Spalletti defended him in front of fans. Padelli is the third GK these days so i couldn't care less about him.

Yeah, that's how it's gonna go most likely.

Pretty sure we can dump Vecino to EPL in the summer. Low price but just avoid minusvalenza. We can bring Agoume and Dimarco back, cheap rotation players.

Then depending on who's gonna be the coach, acquisitions accordingly. Starting LWB or LB. Rotation striker to replace Pinamonti who needs to leave on loan to play. Then maybe one CB, depending on our defence structure (3- or 4-man). If 3-man, we need extra LCB, so either veteran or then Pirola.

This would allow us to have a pretty economical summer mercato.

Of course everything depends who are the owners at the time, so this was basically a speculation for the case where we aren't adding costs tremendously (those extensions alone will add costs despite some big salary players leaving).

Verona has 4.5m€ option to buy and we have 6m€ counter-option.

But yeah, we surely have a chance to fuck it up. It just would be logical to get him back now after a season as starter in a upper midtier Serie A club.
