Fact is that there is no credible argument to sell Kovacic on a financial or a sporting level - period.

I think It's okay to sell one of the best player in the team if you get a suitable replacement. It happens in the past that replacing Ronaldo with Crespo and replacing Ibra with Eto'o.

But now you sold Kovacic, and who else you are going to get to replace him? There was one player who is very good in AMC position, and he is affordable, which is Firmino. But now he is no longer available. Are Inter going to reinvest the money that we get from this deal?


If the answer is no, then I am very disappointed with the Inter management this time, I don't mind Inter become a mid table team, I don't mind watching Inter game and seeing them lose, I still support Inter. But I do mind Inter becomes a selling club, selling the most talented player while the team is full of mediocre players. Becoming a selling club is losing the club's prestige, if so, I think I will quit watching Inter after watching their games for 20 years.

Melo and Motta are not suitable replacements. If we buy either one of these fuckers and bench Gnoukouri, what a kick to the nuts that would be. The thing I dont get is why everyone is overreacting. This sale's timing is terrible. But Kovacic is still young and he was never a match winner for us. Sure, we lost a huge talent and only time will tell how big that loss is. But we have no shortage of talent with Gnoukouri, Murillo, Icardi, Kondogbia and even Jovetic despite not being as young as the others. At this moment in time the transfer is bad news. But save the pessimism and overreactions till after the mercato. Then you can judge Mancini, then you can Judge the managment. Who knows maybe we will sign better players.

Yeah. That shortage we've had for fucking 10 years (well, more than that). When we got Sneijder, that was something totally new to Inter fans. Midfielder who could do something with the ball. Coutinho was the next(ish) one, though more of a forward. Kovacic right after him. And that's it.

And all them gone now. I don't understand how fucking difficult it is to build your squad around talented midfield. We always end up buying all kind of relatively crap or then total crap. We play like shit and the results are shit. Mostly that is because we don't have a proper midfield. Kondo-Kova could have been a great duo, but apparently it was Kova OR Kondo, not both. And this idiot chooses Kondo.
