lol

So I mixed it up with 21/22 result.

Massive start of the season when it comes to these matchups. +9 points.

At this point I expect us to win both games against 13 of 19 opponents, which would mean at least 26 wins.

The games I'm a bit afraid are against Sassuolo (which we should win at least one game), Juve, Milan, Napoli, Lazio and Atalanta. This is where anything can happen, in my opinion. Mix the 26 wins with all games and this feels realistic right about now, no?

26 wins guaranteed, you say? That would be 3 more than the amount we reached last season. Also the amount AC Milan reached when they won the league. Us and Napoli won the league with 28 wins. So yeah, good work so far.

Sassuolo? Napoli and Atalanta already beat them with clean sheets, don't think they'll be as troublesome this season.

Until I see us beating them, they are staying on my list. Mind you, before the Fiorentina game, they were on the list as well. Some players, like Beltran, don't look as good as was talked about.

I do not feel Roma can stop us, but Mourinho could park the bus against us. We still haven't played against a team that really parked the bus.

I think we're much better equipped to unlock defences this season than last. Thuram seems a lot more unpredictable than Lukaku. Augusto and Cuadrado provide additional attacking options, so does Frattesi and Klaasen from midfield. Hell, even Pavard has a key pass similar to Bastoni's on him. I'm not that concerned with teams that park the bus, I'm more concerned with the high-pressing teams with good attacking players like Napoli, Atalanta and Milan.

More pressure other teams put on us, the more space for counterattacks.

I don't think Inzaghi discovered perfect defence. Our clean sheet run will probably end against Milan, who aren't just great at counterattacks, they also play faster than us when building from the back. It's going to be a crazy match.

We are in a pretty good spot, +9 points compared to last season given the same or "same" matchups. Points-wise the same except 3 home losses turned to wins.

Obviously there are some matchups left which we did well last season like Atalanta-Inter (coming up next), Inter-Napoli, Roma-Inter and Fiorentina-Inter. Some of those matchups might be games we do not win but let's hope. Also more games left were dropped points when we shouldn't last season. Including the second madonnina.

+16 on last season, it's looking massive.

Of course it should look better compared to last season as we kind of wasted last season's Serie A, but this is looking really, really good.
