Former President Massimo Moratti is “genuinely curious to see Antonio Conte’s Inter,” but insists Mauro Icardi is a better striker than Edin Dzeko or Romelu Lukaku.

The patron who was in charge when they won the Treble in 2010 gave his views on the current situation with new Coach Conte.

I love MM to death, always thankful for everything he did, but he is no way qualified to talk about social media stuff, cuz when he was around, social media influence in Italy was not very popular, or should I say, was not as used by players, as much as is used today.

Need to agree with FCAustin on this.

If our captain was being a dick on social media it almost implied that MM would just overlook it, when the right course of action would be to punish said behaviour as it reflects on the club.

Almost all workplaces say you can’t post shit about them on social media (or reference them), the difference being that most people aren’t in the public spotlight so would need to call out or make specific references to what they are disgruntled at to have an effect where as because Icardi is famous anything he does is monitored but still bound by a similar logic and reflects on the clubs image too.

Happy for others to disagree with this, and im probably one of the people least qualified to discuss the issue when it comes to mainstream social media platforms as I personally don’t have Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or anything like it as I think they’re a waste of energy and life.
