Livaja apologises for punch-up

Atalanta forward Marko Livaja has apologised after it was revealed that he punched teammate Ivan Radovanovic.

Reports on Thursday confirmed that the Inter-owned Croatian hit his fellow La Dea teammate in a training ground bust-up.

And the 19-year-old has admitted he was wrong.

“First of all I want to apologise to the club, the President, the Coach and the rest of the squad,” he told calciomercato.com.

“I promise, in the future, I will do right on and off the field.

“I have decided to open a new page on my career.

“Again, I was wrong and I want to apologise.

As a talented forward who has shown some real potential at Inter (and, at times, even Atalanta)? Hell yeah. He's clearly got some skill.

As a really arrogant cunt who - much like Arnautovic - pulls out a line like "I used to play for Inter"? Fuck that. I'm not a fan of arrogance - particularly when it is not deserved.

I hope he fixes his attitude, because he has plenty of talent. You do have to be a bit cocky as a forward, but cocky and flat out completely arrogant are different things. Cocky is trying to pull tricks in training. Arrogant is pulling shit like "I'm an Inter player, I deserve better"
