Currently 5th option are only open for homegrown players otherwise he won't be registered. At this point I'd rather have him as fifth choice, if at all. We need one more player, a different type, since Lautaro and Taremi are similar, Thuram is our tricky player with pace, ... I just want somebody who is quality and won't mind sitting on the bench. Obviously I'd love it if Dybala said yes to that and play most matches for 30 minutes. We need that kind of player.
Maybe not Dybala per se, but a similar player. Not sure in Berardi, even tho I love him. Too late. Gudmundsson is good, but also not like Dybala.
No matter how many good blowjobs this guy gives to the management and not matter how good of a friend he is to others, I don't want anyone on this team ever say the words ''we are happy'' when it comes to this garbage... Get him the fuck out of here.
Arna was not better than Sanchez last season. Not sure what you were watchingmost people here wanted to give Sanchez a extension. Arna was way better than Sanchez just was unlucky to get injured.
He should go but not for free since we paid for him. Hope he gets his Arab move and takes it. Tho opens up a spot that I doubt we give to a youth player. Taremi replaces Arna and we use Carboni hopefully to replace Sanchez + get money. That would be a great summer..... incredible if we somehow offload Correa for a bag of peanuts and some bananas
It's a bit of a give and take. Arna was time to time more useful for our regular game whereas Sanchez was time to time useful when we needed something different.Arna was not better than Sanchez last season. Not sure what you were watching
Ehmm no. Arnautovic was the one we payed 10 million for to be the 3rd striker. The 3rd striker in modern football for teams that play with 2 up is expected to start a lot of matches and at the end of the season should only get about 20% less game time than the “starting” 2.In other words, they both contributed and what a rotation player is expected to be, just fans expecting exceptional performance from everyone on the team, even if they are rotation or backup players.
Arnautovic missed considerable part of the season because of injury and that's why he didn't play, not because he wasn't performing.Ehmm no. Why do you think Thuram and Lauti completely fell off towards the end of the season? They had nobody to take the load off them because our supposed 3rd striker completely underperformed. It’s why it’s a complete necessity in this window to bring in another attacker l aside from Taremi as well
Sanchez came in as a 4th striker and performed on par/slightly above expectation.
Well to be honest it was a bit of both. However I would argue his lack of performance coincided with the fact he had a tough time getting fit and never found form.Arnautovic missed considerable part of the season because of injury and that's why he didn't play, not because he wasn't performing.
I think we're gonna move him the second there's an offer on the table. Issue is if the player doesn't want to move, we cannot move him and we cannot push the move too aggressively. Because if he ends up staying eventually, we still need him as at his best as he can be.I think Inter should moved him on rather than look to keep him. He singlehandedly fucked our hopes of beating Athletico Madrid with his horrible, glaring misses.
Surely, there is a player out there that can offer more than Arnautovic.
He isn't the type of player who easily declines in my eyes. He always reminded me of Ibra, even though he is not nearly as good.Unless he is on a rapid decline mode due to his age, I can only picture he giving more next season, after adjusting in here for one full season.
