Balotelli's a CF not a winger, that's why he had a bad game. Anyone see how this guy can finish?

He can make chances and crosses as well. I prefer him on the right side. In my opinion, he was only horrible because he can't use his left foot for crosses.

He's not even a natural winger, so it's really hard for him to play on the left side. I've seen him playing well with Mancini's inter on the right wing.

Real prepare Balotelli bid

Mario Balotelli has impressed Real Madrid directors so much they are ready to splurge £14m on the Inter teenager.

The 18-year-old striker made the step up from the youth team midway through last season and is now a regular pushing Hernan Crespo into the stands.

According to the latest reports emanating from Spain, Real Madrid boss Bernd Schuster has been hugely impressed by the youngster.

The club is eager to get in early for a summer £14m bid before his price-tag rises further, especially with interest from Chelsea also rumoured.

This is a deal that could happen, as earlier this year Balotelli publicly complained at the low wages he was on at San Siro and hinted he could walk away.

Balotelli’s story is an intriguing one, as he was born in Palermo of Ghanaian parents and taken in by his foster family in Brescia at the age of two.

Despite growing up with the Balotelli family and never having lived outside of Italy, red tape over the difference between foster care and adoption meant he was not allowed to have Italian citizenship until he turned 18 in August.

This also blocked off his international career, but he scored on his Under-21 debut and is tipped for a quick move up to the senior Azzurri squad.

-----------

These guys are clueless, Balotelli was complaining about the wages prior to agreeing his improved new contract with us but he isn't anymore. And even if were to sell him it wouldn't be for just £14m!

Most ridiculous article in a long time. So many factual mistakes.

btw, I've been wondering. Can anyone tell me something about Balotelli's childhood? I've never read anything about it.

Balotelli is an interista, for sure. I rreally hope that Moratti will see what he's worth so that he could stay and develope into a world class player at Nerazzurri. Mark my words - he'll be the next Drogba!

no I prefer Mario... did u see how crap benzema was during Euro and for france... that league isnt that great to give one of italys most promising player for him.. I think he is over rated. He is in a weaker league on a team that in 10x better than every other team in that league.

If we could get Van der Vart or Sneijeder or Robben for Real Madrid then k they can have him but for Benzema .... no thanks

Mario is a great player and is cool with not being a starter but knows when he comes in he can change the game and is hungry to do well for inter and start soon

So now balotelli is better than Benzema now :howler:? Jesus fucking christ, this board gets funnier everyday.

The entire france squad sucked during euro 08, to base an opinion about a player on how he performed with france in the euro'es is simply idiotic...

Benzema and Aguero are the two most promising strikers in todays football. They have proved this.

Benzema's decent. I've only seen him play in the Euro Cup and in the CL a few times and he never impressed me like Balotelli has.

Balotelli hasnt really done anything, but he is already hugely overrated by people here, sad.

He i dont see him getting much playing time this season apart from Coppa italia and serie A games that are already finished.

We should have loaned him out to some midtable club in one of the 3 big leagues. Keeping him here on the bench is a mistake, he wont develop enough this way, but he far from good enough to break into the starting 11, not loaning him out is a big mistake.

Balotelli is perfect young player. After Adriano and Ibrahimović he should be our third striker and that's it.

He's still young, he can learn from the best players and from the best coach.

And he didn't do anything? Last year scudetto, Ibra injured, who gave crucial goals for us?
