Santon apparently got 62 and Balo got 60..... still people insult his intelligence and praise Santon....

The band of people who want 11 J.Z.'s are still living in a world that simply doesnt exist anymore.. But we've been down that road.

Mario can become super star like CR9 or Messi, if someone or something make him change his attitude and with a little luck with not being injured badly. An example is Luis Suarez who was a heavy drinker and went to night clubs frequently. But now he changed and become Ajax's captain.

At the same time, Mario can be crap player who goes to clubs like Adriano.

It can happen either way, but we are talking about the odds. The chance for Mario becoming super star is very small. If he cannot change under Jose, then who else can motivate him better? The chance of this case is very very slim, IMHO. And investing in him with that slim chance of success, taking the risk of his trouble making in the dress room would not be a smart risk management at all. Selling him with 35M and invest with that money in other talented and reliable players would be smarter.

I still keep my opinion, if he moves to MU and becomes successful. One outcome with 1% chance can become true and others with 99% chance may never happen. Still in that case, if he is successful at MU does not mean he will be successful at Inter.

When people talk about intelligence they are referring to profesionalism. When santon decides to put on a milan yersey or throw the inter shirt down we can talk again.

Another example of football intelliegence. Both want to be in the first team this season so on the first day of training santon is one of the first to arrive while balo arrives 7 minutes late. Who do you think impressed rafa?? First impressions are rather important in gaining the manager trust.

a) The chances of that happening are astronomicly slim

Hahahaha...so I take it you know better than Sir Alex Ferguson right?

If he goes to Man Utd, you know, I definetly know it and everybody knows he WILL become a future top 5 player in the world.

Astronomically slim....you're exaggerating and lying to yourself Luka.

Only a small club would sell a player of this potential...I hope Inter have learned from past mistakes.

I can tell you for CERTAIN that he will do jack shit in football world (I mean being indespensable player for top club) if he won't change. Can we agree to that ?

Do you know how difficult it is to actually loose this shitty attitude Balotelli has ? It's not like flipping a switch.

For every player with pottential who made it, there are 10 others who failed misserably, and their tallent got wasted. It should give you a hint why this is so important. If it was so easy to fullfill pottential (and the only way to do it is work, work, work) every youngster would do it. On the contrary, more youngsters can't become what they should be, and only a few make it big.

When they realised their mistakes, it was too late. Somehow everybody here thinks that all we need to do is wait for a mirracle. How simple.

Balotelli will not achieve anything major unless he will go through monumental change, not slim change, but monumental change. Every year it got WORSE, not better, worse. At first, when he broke to the first team he was acting decently, nobody was talking jack shit about anything and I was excited as everybody here. Even the next year I was deffending him, and wanted to wait and see how it will end, but the last season that was it.

Year after year it got worse, so can anybody explain to me, where this optimism comes from ? It's not like it's better and we see some hope, on the contrary it gets worse and worse with last year being the new low.

All I hear is tallent, tallent, tallent, but not everybody focuses on the ATTITUDE. This is the key, not the tallent. Tallent alone means SHIT and the sooner the "believers" will realise this, the better.

If Jordan had attitude like Balotelli, he would finish as nobody, and with every passing month, week, and day when Balotelli thinks he doesn't have to work shit because he is that good, more and more of his tallent gets wasted. When you listen to every interview of MJ, and what advice he gives when asked about "what advice he can give to young players" is: "WORK, WORK, AND WORK". You will probably not find an interview, when he doesn't talk about WORKING harder than others as the key of why he became the best player ever.

Balotelli thinks he doesn't have to do shit, because he has the best tallent ever. This is not a minor problem, this is an ENORMOUS problem and unless he changes it (and nothing suggests he will, cause it is worse every year) he will end up like Cassano, being God in mid-level club with no major club willing to risk and get him.

Exactly my thoughts. As I said before, I could be wrong, but I can't see this talent on this guy. Please, tell me, am I missing something?

You do not understand me. I just present two points of view in this forum: one says Mario can be superstar if he can change his mentality and other say he will be a crap player because he cannot change his behavior.

Anything can happen, we do not know. We just calculate the odds of each outcome in the future.

I just can't understand how can some of the people here tell and (actually they are convinced) that Balotelli in next 2 years will be on the same level with Messi and C.Ronaldo...That means that in 2 years he will be the best player in the world.Appart of his shity attitude Balotelli is good player thats for sure, but even if he is "Florence Nightingale" still he will never be like Messi.

I guess I have to do this again....

Mario Balotelli
2007-08 (17): 13 appearances, 3 goals, 3 assists (0.23 GPA)
2008-09 (18): 28 appearances, 9 goals, 3 assists (0.32 GPA)
2009-10 (19): 40 appearances, 11 goals, 8 assists (0.28 GPA)

Lionel Messi
2004-05 (17): 9 appearances, 1 goal, 0 assists (0.11 GPA)
2005-06 (18): 23 appearances, 7 goals, 2 assists (0.30 GPA)
2006-07 (19): 31 appearances, 17 goals, 2 assists (0.55 GPA)

Wayne Rooney
2002-03 (16-17): 37 appearances, 8 goals, 4 assists (0.22 GPA)
2003-04 (17-18): 40 appearances, 9 goals, 3 assists (0.23 GPA)
2004-05 (18-19): 43 appearances, 17 goals, 4 assists (0.40 GPA)

Cristiano Ronaldo
2002-03 (16-17): 25 appearances, 3 goals, ?? assists (0.12 GPA)
2003-04 (17-18): 39 appearances, 6 goals, 4 assists (0.15 GPA)
2004-05 (18-19): 50 appearances, 9 goals, 4 assists (0.18 GPA)

Also Balotelli has these numbers coming of the bench, by 18-19, the other 3 were starting and getting significantly more minutes than Mario...

Sometimes statistics are not the real measure for the quality of the player.Don't get me wrong ,Balotelli is very good player but how can you compare his playing style with Messi's?????

All I am saying is that at 18-19 years old maybe only Messi was better than Mario. Rooney was stubborn dirty player before and Ronaldo was like a circus act and many Mn United fans I know hated him at first. The kid lacks motivation. If you say that you haven't seen flashes of Balotelli doing exactly what Messi or Ronaldo does, then you haven't watched him.

He has the talent, but for some reason he is not motivated to show it...

You strongly believe in Balotelli...On the other hand I do not(thats just my opinion) ,but i like your optimistic aproach about him and respect that. I will be happy too if he becomes the best player in the world and plays for Inter. The winner in that situation will be INTER.

The problem is, without motivation, he becomes a very average player. I am hoping that a new manager can spark some motivation in the kid, because I feel like everyone will truly be pleasantly surprised if he played to his ability. Unfortunately, a bigger move may be required to get this motivation...for example, a move to another club.

Yes, and he is just one big moment away from it and half the emotional girls here want to sell him.:p

Rant starts now His contract isnt up anytime soon, let him have 1 season, we will still get the money. This was his worst season ever if you add everything up, but he still is attracting 30m offers from the likes of Chelsea, Man U. It means he is doing something right.

But no boohoo he threw the jersey on the ground in anger. He wore a jersey gifted to him like I would when I get someting as a JOKE.... it actually worked because you guys fall for anything negative on him always.

His only fault is doing what his coach said and not tracking back as well as Eto. I was hoping if Mou stayed on Mario would finally make his peace with defending, but now that Mou has moved on we can actually play him as a striker where he excels. If you really notice, he is one of the best players in holding up the ball for us, might I say even Milito and Eto.

But again all of you will take this off-track and say that he threw the jersey, didnt bleed black and blue, yada yada yada 18th century. Rant off.

I wont be postng any replies on this thread, till we start discussing his football. Respect.
